Update post! November 29th (Live-stream tomorrow!) (Patreon)

Not only will tomorrow be the release of the latest song, Streets of NY, but it's also the next Youtube live-stream! It will take place at around 6:30 PM US Central time.

I'll also be placing a small reminder at the beginning of the Streets of NY video, which I'm looking to get up several hours (probably sometime around noon for me) before the live-stream takes place.

Most of what I have to 'reveal' are things I've already mentioned on here throughout the past few update posts, the biggest of which (atleast, to me, haha) is the official announcement that I'll be working on music full-time. I've kept quiet about it so far and have really only talked about it on here, so it's still sort of a secret (though I think some people have already figured it out, haha).

I'd also like to mention that I'm going to change up some of the reward tiers here on Patreon very soon. I won't be taking away anything, but rather I'm going to try to add some new things to give people more incentive to become a Patron. Since my personal income is now 100% from Patreon, Youtube, Band Camp and donations (with Patreon making up the bulk at about 75-80%), I'm going to be focusing more than ever on the Patreon campaign. My personal finances depend on it! xD

Other things I'll be touching on in the video are the announcement of the Sonic Fan Medley: Genesis Edition, and I'll talk a little bit about the new Acoustic Short Loop Channel that will be coming soon. I only sort of mentioned the loop channel in passing on an acoustic short post recently, but if you missed it, I'm going to make a YT channel dedicated to the loopable acoustic shorts I've been making here on Patreon. It will feature fan art as the song's video image (since shooting and editing live footage would take up a lot of time I'd rather spend on actual GaMetal songs), as well as an instant download link for each loop (rather than making people wait a few days like I do with GaMetal stuff). It'll just be a fun little side-thing, we have so many acoustic shorts now I felt it was a shame that more of them don't see the light of day. In the future I might upload a full acoustic song to that channel periodically.

That's really all for now. Oh yeah! I almost forgot, there's a new song coming tomorrow, and I totally haven't told you what song will be coming first in December.

The next Patreon Request List drawing will be taking place on the 5th of December, which will probably actually end up being the second song of the month this time so I can do the Sonic Medley as the third song. If I haven't reviewed/updated your list yet, I will do so within the next couple of days, so don't worry. :)

There will be a fourth song in December but we'll get to that in a later update post.

So I have some time before the drawing, and there's a series I was wanting to get to before the year was over that I've been seeing a ton of requests for. I went ahead and chose a song on the request list from that series: Monster Hunter.

This is a pretty intense song with some odd-timing stuff going on, so it should be a lot of fun!
