This is part ballot-influence, part Patreon request influenced, part non-ballot request influence. It appears on the Patreon Request Lists of UnitiveVG, Scourge3237, James H., and GaMetal Sans Guy #1 (one of the GaMetal Discord ballot accounts), was the #1 most requested Sonic song from the 2022 GaMetal Song Ballot, and just all-around has been constantly requested for several years, and has seemed to only ramp up over the course of time.
