Finally the first song of the month is here!

As I mentioned in one of the update posts, I've been working a lot on improving my mixing, with the main focus this time around being seperation and stereo field stuff. I think I achieved a really great sound starting with this song that I'm pretty excited about. You can tell the difference when the next song comes up in the playlist, haha.

So anyway, this song was pretty difficult to put together. Luckily (SUPER LUCKILY), Jake Kaufman actually released the NSF file for Shovel Knight so I was able to tell exactly what was going on, and let me tell you, if you haven't heard the tracks seperated, there's a whole lot of stuff that I had no idea was even happening in the original version. Shovel Knight's OST is pretty heavily layered, and quite masterfully I might add.

I'll have an update post for you all tomorrow! Thanks for your patience with this one, I'll be catching up before the month ends.

And as always, thanks a million for your continued support, you all are the greatest! :D

PS (Patrons): The drawing for the upcoming song will be tomorrow so if you haven't entered a song yet, do so here!

Strike the Earth! (Plains of Passage) (Shovel Knight) - GaMetal

Sharpen thy shovels: GaMetal takes on 'Strike the Earth!', the Plains of Passage theme from Shovel Knight! I've been getting a pretty large amount of requests to do Shovel Knight songs for quite a while.

The HarDe One

I bet it was difficult to set up, but a lot of fun to finally get to playing all the parts. It will clearly be a while before the next track of Shovelry, but the wait will be worth it.

Avarik

My body was not prepared for this strike.

Awesome, glad you found the NSF file! Love your rendition! Can't wait for specter knight expansion now!
