Update Post! April 3rd, 2022 (Patreon)

Hey Patrons, it's time for our first update post of the month!

March went pretty much according to plan, and our to-do list is back down to a very manageable size:

• April: BIG SHOT (Deltarune Ch. 2)
• April: Lost in Thoughts All Alone (Fire Emblem Fates)
• TBA: Waiting For You (Silent Hill 4)

Despite that, I have a lot of stuff coming up for you over the next few months!

First up we'll be getting to the true most requested song of the current moment: BIG SHOT from Deltarune Chapter 2. I'm hoping to have this one and up by the end of next weekend.

I'd also like to confirm that Lost in Thoughts All Alone will finally be happening later this month!

We still have a few more songs to add, two of those being the monthly Patreon stream pick and my monthly Patreon Request List handpicked choice. Our monthly Patreon Stream will be taking place at our usual date of April 5th, however, I'm changing the time slightly. Instead of the usual 3:00 PM, we will be starting around 2:00 PM US Central Time. We just had daylight savings last month, so for those in areas that don't do DLS, be sure to double check the time conversion in your area.

I just updated the Patreon Request List earlier, but there's still some time for those on the request list tiers to add or make changes.

There's also another song I'll be adding to the list soon: an upcoming GaMetal Discord Request Battle song. This battle will be revealed later this week, so I can't make any confirmations just yet, but I think it'll satisfy a lot of folks!

Now, to address 2 popular questions at the moment: what's up with May Madness and the 2022 GaMetal Song Ballot?

May Madness remake voting will begin later this week! Like last year, there will be both a Patron-only form (editable) and a public form (non-editable). These will be posted here, and the public form on Youtube, later this week on Wednesday (April 6th). More details will be posted then.

(And for those unfamiliar with the yearly May Madness events, we vote on and remake a bunch of old GaMetal songs 😉).

My original plan with the 2022 GaMetal Song Ballot was to hold off until BIG SHOT was completed, since it was likely to easily take the #1 spot. I was hoping to give the ballot a little more unpredictability just for fun... then Kirby and the Forgotten Land was released, which is sure to take a spot or two in the top. Just our luck, ey? 😂

Anyway, to help prevent any confusion with the May Madness remake voting, I'll be holding off on the 2022 Ballot just a little bit longer, but not by too much: It'll be going live in early May!
