GaMetal - Star Wolf (Star Fox 64) (Patreon)

Star Wolf has returned to begin this year's May Madness!

My first Star Wolf cover was made way back in 2010, and was mostly influenced by the slowed down Star Fox Assault version, that eventually sped up into the 64 version towards the end.

This time around I went full blast into the high energy version. There are still a few nods to the Assault version, notably the descending scale at about 00:35 in the video, and the flange guitar line at around 1:12.

I also really dug how the Star Fox Zero version had some choir stuff going on, and made my own variation at around 1:55. In case you're wondering, it's just non-sense syllables and not actual words, haha.

Sector Z / Fichina (Fortuna) also makes an appearance. The SSB4 remix of Star Wolf also included Sector Z and I really couldn't get it out of my head, plus it's another badass SF64 song anyways so I went ahead and threw it in. Also, if you didn't know, this theme plays on the first planet you fight Star Wolf in before they show up.
