Update Post! April 25th (2021 Song Ballot news and next song preview!) (Patreon)

Good morning/afternoon/evening Patrons! I have a few quick things to throw at you today.

Attached to this post is a preview of the next song up, In Yggdrasil from La Mulana 2. This one will be finished and up later this week.

Here's a look at the (still short, yay) to-do list:

As you should know by now, the May Madness event is next month! I've been working hard on a few of the upcoming remakes, and almost have all of the confirmed songs decided. The May song roster will be live-revealed here on Patreon via a short stream on Sunday, May 2nd, around 3:00 PM US Central time, and will include a preview of all songs like we did last year.

Last major thing of note: the 2021 GaMetal Song Ballot will be going live this Wednesday, April 28th, but because you all are special, you can get in on the action a bit early: here's your link to the ballot!

For those unfamiliar with the song ballot: I started doing this in 2019 as a way to gather song requests from the entire GaMetal community into one spot, to see what the most requested songs are at the moment. It's a much easier and reliable method than counting up comments (which I of course still do).

The ballot is also helpful in a few other ways, like knowing what song(s) are favored from a particular series, what series that we haven't covered yet that are most wanted, finding hidden gem songs, etc.

Also, I won't be auto-confirming and putting the top 3 songs on the to-do list this time around like I did last year, but rest assured I'll do my best to get to as many of the top songs (and of course some not-so-top songs, haha) as I can throughout the rest of the year.

That's all for now! Oh wait, one last thing: as you may have noticed, I once again didn't have much time to do a stream last week. So I'll just go ahead and set a date for us: we'll do a Patreon Request List listening stream on Wednesday, April 28th, starting around 3:00 PM US Central Time.
