Update Post! March 7th (Almost there!) (Patreon)

Hey Patrons, it's time for a quick update post!

I've been hard at work on finishing up Side-Quests Volume 3, and I'm happy to say that I've just finished full drafts for all songs, meaning all that's left now is the clean up phase!

In fact, I'm in far enough now to finally confirm a release date: the Side-Quests 3 album will officially drop here on Patreon on March 14th! Like the past couple of album releases (Dreamland Invasion and SQ2), we'll also be having a first listen stream for Patrons before the album is posted here. This stream will take place the same day (March 14th) and start around 2:00 PM US Central Time. 

Bring your best pair of headphones! ... or speakers, your call.

This entire month will be dedicated to the release of all of the Side-Quests 3 videos, so everything else on the to-do list will be done after March.

That said, here's a quick look at our to-do list:

• March: Side-Quests Volume 3 (Song list at bottom of PRL)
• TBA: Lost in Thoughts All Alone (Fire Emblem Fates) (Working on getting this together as soon as SQ3 videos are finished and up)
• April: You Will Recall Our Names (Xenoblade Chronicles 2)
• April: Surge of Power! (Mega Man Battle Network 6)

A few other important things to note:

There will be an April Fools special this year! Though I will say, with SQ3 taking up most of my time this month, I'll have to work on it in between working on videos, so it will likely lean on the simpler side.

The 2021 GaMetal Song Ballot will be going live around the beginning of April! I've been holding off on this as there are songs on Side-Quests 3 (such as Running Hell) that would likely show up on the ballot again if it had been released before the album dropped, and I'd rather those folks not waste a vote.

And yes, May Madness is getting closer! If you're a newer fan and don't know what I'm talking about, every May I go back and remake a bunch of my older (2014 and prior) remixes. We'll be talking about that and doing all the necessary preparation (Patron and public May Madness requests) in April, we just gotta tend to SQ3 first!

Oh and, I'll be trying to do another Patreon Request List Listening Stream for you all sometime later this week, perhaps on Thursday or Friday around 3:00 PM US Central. I'll make a post earlier in the day that I decide to do it so you can know a bit in advance.

I believe that's all I have for you for now. I'm gonna give my ears a break for a couple of days then get this album finally complete. It sounds kick-ass by the way! Every album I say 'this is the best one yet' but I fully believe SQ3 is going to be legitimately awesome.
