GaMetal X (Early Download link for all Patrons!) (Patreon)
Content
Hey Patrons, GaMetal X is ready for you all!
Like it's predecessors V - IX, X is a compilation album of all of the prior year's songs. All songs have been given original titles, almost all of which were submitted by GaMetal Patrons.
I have once again given each 'disc' a specific theme:
- Disc 1 is mostly comprised of songs from platformers.
- Disc 2 is mostly comprised of songs from action/adventure/fighters/misc.
- Disc 3 is mostly comprised of songs from RPGs.
Songs on each disc are also adjacent to songs from the same series (IE, Mario songs being side by side).
And of course we can't forget Disc 4: the Bonus Tracks!
Last year I gave you 5 bonus tracks, and this year I'm giving you yet another 5:
- Dark Meta Knight (Kirby and the Amazing Mirror) (2021 Remaster)
- Natural Killer Cyborg / Unfounded Revenge (Mother 3) (2021 Remaster)
- Area 6 (Star Fox 64) (2021 Remaster)
- Life Will Change (Persona 5) (Instrumental Arrangement)
- One-Winged Angel (Final Fantasy VII) (2021 Remaster)
I have just finished submitting X on Soundrop to go up on iTunes/Spotify/etc, hopefully it should be up on those platforms within a couple of weeks. Be aware that, like usual, I won't be able to get every song up in these places because of licensing issues. They're still available in the download I've linked to in this post as well as the individual song pages on my site.
Once X goes live there, I will be releasing the Non-Live Q&A/News video I've been talking about for the past few weeks, where I'll also be publicly announcing the BandCamp release of X.
Last thing of note: to keep consistent with the naming convention I've had to go with for the officially distributed album titles, the album title tag will now simply be the roman numeral (IE, "X" rather than "GaMetal X").
That's all, enjoy GaMetal X!
PS: Album art once again by the amazing nintendonut1!
PPS: Once the BandCamp release goes public, the drive link above may die a few months after, as I may need to free up drive space eventually. Rest assured you can still get the album for free and in all formats at said BandCamp release!
