I remember playing it a ton back when Microsoft Zone was a thing. Back then, most people still had dial up internet and pings in the 300-400ms range. We had to compensate for the delay by 'lag shooting', where you shot a little bit ahead of your target in order to hit them. Ah, the good ol' days.
