Update Post! March 21st (Patreon)

Good evening/morning/afternoon Patrons, it's time for an update post!

Before I get on to GaMetal stuff, I want to make a quick note about recent world events: the COVID-19 / Coronavirus pandemic.

I hope you are all doing well and have not had your daily lives and/or livelihood negatively impacted by everything going on lately. I may not be super old (turning 33 this year), but I've never seen anything quite like this on a worldwide scale before. Here in the USA, schools and businesses and practically whole cities have been closing indefinitely, it's pretty surreal.

That said, I just want you to know that if you have to suspend your Patreon pledges for any reason whatsoever, I completely understand. With businesses closing and such, there are bound to be some of you that may have to make some financial changes soon, so it's to be expected. I'm always more than happy to have your support in any way or form, be it on or off Patreon. Like I always say: I only want you to pledge an amount that you both want to and feel comfortable with financially, so I have no issue with you taking care of your finances first!

I'm no scientist, so this is just my average-guy speculation, but I feel like everything will be a lot more under control in a few months. Just remember: social distance when you can, and keep those hands clean!

Did you participate in the May Madness 2020 discussion post yet? If not, there's still some time to let me know what old GaMetal song(s) you want to hear remade this year. Tomorrow (Sunday, the 22nd) I'm going to be making the public May Madness form that everyone else can participate in, like we did last year. It too will be open till the last day of the month.

Again, I won't necessarily be going with only the top songs that get entered, but the votes will strongly influence what I end up choosing. Check the discussion post for more info!

I've gotten a lot done on K. Rool Duel recently, so I figured I'd go ahead and make that the next song up. This will be followed by either Confronting Myself or Life Will Change.

I'm also still deciding on this year's April Fools Special, but will keep that a surprise for now. :)
