Update + Preview Post! February 24th (Patreon)

Good evening Patrons, it's time for an update post, let's get to it!

The next song up will be Those Who Stand Against Our Path from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which I've included the preview for in this post. I might also be able to squeeze Battle of Award 42 in this month, but if all else fails, it'll be an early March song (I now have everything I need to finish BoA42, but want to get TWSAOP done first).

That said, the current to-do list is now:

• Feb: Those Who Stand Against Our Path (Xenoblade Chronicles 2)
• Feb/March: Battle of Award 42 (A Hat in Time) Ft. ???
• March: Zero (Ace Combat Zero)
• March: Confronting Myself (Celeste)
• March: Life Will Change (Persona 5)
• March: K. Rool Duel (Donkey Kong 64)
• April: Area 1 (Blaster Master)
• April: Zinogre (Monster Hunter Series)
• 2020: Side-Quests Volume 3 (Song list at bottom of PRL) 

My goal was to have all the songs that were chosen in 2019 finished by the end of this month, but I fell short just a little bit. I at least came close, so they should all have been finished by the end of March. The only two 2019 songs after TWSAOP and BoA42 are Zero and Life Will Change, so after those 2 we will be all caught up and strictly on 2020 song picks.

Speaking of 2020 song picks...

The 2020 GaMetal Song Ballot closes tonight! I trust that you all have already gotten in your ballot entry, but for those that haven't, you still have a few hours left to do so. The ballot will be closing at 10 PM US Central Time (about 3 hours from this post).

To commemorate the closing of this year's ballot, I will be holding a special Patron-only ballot results stream tomorrow, February 25th, starting around 3:00 PM US Central Time. I'll be revealing the top 10 song most requested songs from the ballot, as well as the top 10 most requested game series and top 10 most requested new series (games/series we haven't covered yet). We'll be listening to each song as it's revealed, and for the game series lists, we'll listen to the most requested song from that series, if it didn't already appear in the top 10 songs.

Apologies for saying 'series' 100 times in that paragraph. Whew.

And that's really it for today's update post. The next few months are pretty straight-forward: just cleaning up the to-do list and preparing for things like May Madness and the SQ3 album, so... busting out as many songs as possible!
