Update Post! December 2nd (Patreon)

Good afternoon/evening/morning Patrons, it's time for an update post!

The past 3 weeks have been dedicated to the reveal and release of the GaMetal album. With that now completely finished, it's back to focusing on the mighty to-do list. Let's take a look!

I had been debating on doing Void after all of the GaMetal album videos were finished, but I've decided to just go ahead and make it the 2019 finale. I don't think anything else fits the bill quite as well.

So instead, next up will be the N64 Medley, which we pulled most of the songs for back during Patreon Appreciation Month in August. I'll be adding a few songs to the mix myself, so this should be a really awesome one.

I'm not really sure exactly which song I will do after that, but it will most likely be either Immortal Smoke or The Extreme.

We still have 2 more songs to add to the list this month: the next Patreon Request List Drawing winner and the handpicked Request List choice. This month's Patron Stream will take place at our usual date and time: December 5th, starting around 3:00 PM US Central Time. I will have the current Patreon Request List completely updated and a current entry list posted by Wednesday, the 4th.

There's also one more song I want to personally add to the to-do list: the 2020 Premiere.

We started off this year with the #3 most requested song from the 2019 GaMetal Song Ballot: Lifelight. We're ending it with the #1 song, Void. However, I never got around to the #2 song, so I think it'd be great to hit people with a double whammy by not only having the #1 song be the finale, but also the #2 song be a part of the end card teaser.

I'm not really doing Ground Theme. What actually was the #2 song from the ballot, which will be the 2020 premiere, is:

The World Revolving, from Deltarune! We managed to go the entire year without doing an Undertale or Deltarune song (a true feat for a game music remix channel these days), so we're a bit overdue for this one.

Speaking of song ballots, I mentioned on the Youtube Q&A/News Live Stream that there will in fact be a 2020 GaMetal Song Ballot. Last year, I opened the ballot in December, but this year I'm waiting until January. I'd like to get Void and World Revolving done first, that way they don't end back up on the new ballot with tons of entries.

Lastly, some album related notes: I'm ordering the physicals for the GaMetal album this week, so they should hopefully arrive at my doorstep sometime early to mid January. For my iTunes/Spotify people, there won't be a 2019 Part 4 this year since Part 3 just released barely a couple of weeks ago and we're already nearing the end of the year. The last remaining songs (everything after Midnight Carnival, excluding the GaMetal album) will be on GaMetal IX, which I will submit for licensing at the beginning of January. IX will of course also be released on BandCamp, with all 2019 songs, in early January. The GaMetal album has already been submitted for licensing and should show up on those platforms hopefully sometime this month.
