The rebooting of the GaMetal universe has officially begun with the first official video for the GaMetal album: Jungle / Bass / Boss from Contra!

I mentioned on the first-listen stream that I'd be trying to get the next song(s) out tomorrow and Tuesday, but I need just a little bit more time to record and edit, so the next songs will come on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Jungle / Base / Boss (Contra) - GaMetal Remix

The self-titled "GaMetal" album tracks begin with this small medley of Contra songs: Jungle, Base, and the Boss theme! While the Type A theme from Tetris was the first official GaMetal song in 2009, the first game song I covered, ever, was the Jungle theme from Contra back in 2005. I had planned to cover the entire soundtrack, and actually got pretty far into it, only falling a few songs short. Needless to say, I wasn't very skilled back then, so it sounded like complete trash, but back then I thought it was awesome. I know better now.
