It's Patron Appreciation Month!! (Update Post, August 1st) (Patreon)

Good morning/afternoon/evening Patrons! It is now August, and that means the GaMetal Patreon is now a whole 4 years old. I can't express enough how thankful I am for all of you for helping to keep the GaMetal Patreon campaign alive and well, and continuing to grow strong throughout these 4 years. Whether you just joined us recently, or have been here since the beginning, you are all a vital part of the GaMetal universe, and without you, I wouldn't be able to churn out 50+ GaMetal songs a year and other additional side materials for you. I wake up every day thankful that I am able to do these things for you, and will continue to do my best to give back to you as much as I possibly can!

This month, rather than pulling 1 random song and handpicking another from the Patreon Request List, we will instead pull 3 random songs from the request list to go onto the official upcoming song roster. We'll also be drawing 10 songs to go into this year's NES Medley #7, and another 7 songs to go into our first Nintendo 64 Medley. Patrons of all tiers are able to participate in the medley drawings!

The medley entry form for NES Medley #7 and Nintendo 64 Medley can be found here. All of the rules/details are in the form description, but here's the shortened version: NES song entries must be from an NES game and must not have appeared in a past GaMetal NES Medley, and N64 song entries must be from an N64 game.

Last month I had mentioned creating a new 15th edition of the request list, but as busy as I was, it slipped my mind. I'll be doing that after this month's drawing, so for those on Tier 3 and above, you can still add/update your 3 song list over at the current Request List (14th edition). For those who've submitted/updated their lists that I haven't gotten to yet, I will have everything up to date before the end of the weekend, so don't fret! :)

To provide everyone enough time to get their medley entries in, I'm moving this month's drawing stream to Saturday, August 10th, starting around 3:00 PM US Central Time.

Patron Appreciation Month festivities aside, let's take a look at what's to come this month, starting with a quick look at the current to-do list:

• TBA: Void Termina / Soul / Astral Birth (Kirby Star Allies)

The next song up will be Good Night, Mom from La Mulana, followed by Daughter of the Dark God from Octopath Traveler. Force Your Way is also nearing completion and could be the 3rd song up, but if not, song #3 is likely to be Battle! Zinnia. Kobito of the Shining Needle ~ Little Princess is planned for an August release, but could spill into September depending on our mystery guest's production time. The Void songs have been on our list for a while, and I know that's going to be a bit of a longer one, so I'm trying to decide on the right time to do it. Battle of Award 42 is likely going to be sometime in September as I still need to begin production on it, same goes for Immortal Smoke. Depending on what songs get drawn from this month's drawing, 1 or maybe even 2 of those might get squeezed into August as well.

Aside from the 5 additional songs (3 from request list plus 2 medleys) coming from this month's drawing, by the end of this month, we should have made a huge impact on the to-do list. We're getting closer to finally bringing back the extra drawing milestone goals we had on here a little while back!

This is gonna be a super productive month, so buckle your seatbelts, and let's get to it!

PS: With the way things are going, this could be a 5+ song month, so please be sure your monthly patron limits are set appropriately. I appreciate all you contribute, but I don't want to bust your bank accounts either! :)
