Update Post! July 21st (Patreon)

Good afternoon/evening/morning Patrons! I've just finished the Falling Down video, which will be coming shortly after this post, but before that, I promised you all an update post, so let's get to it!

Patreon Appreciation Month

It's almost time: next month we celebrate the birth month of the GaMetal Patreon with Patreon Appreciation Month! In place of our usual 1 drawing song and 1 handpicked song from the Patreon Request List, we will instead be drawing 3 songs from the Patreon Request List to throw onto the future song line-up. We will also have a drawing for 2 upcoming medleys: our annual NES Medley, and this year we'll also be doing a Nintendo 64 Medley! There will be 10 winners for the NES Medley and 7 winners for the N64 Medley (this doesn't include the Tier 7 Patrons auto-pick and my personal pick). There is no Patron tier limit to participate in the NES and N64 Medley drawings.

I will have an entry form for the NES and N64 Medleys up on August 1st. Since Augusts drawing stream is going to be a big one, I will be doing the drawing stream a little later than usual. Rather than the 5th, August's drawing stream will instead be on August 10th (starting around 2:00 PM US Central Time), to give everyone some more time to get all of their entries in.

Collaborations

If you haven't noticed, I've been on a bit of a collaboration streak lately, first with a solo appearance in RichaadEBs Stardust Crusaders (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) remix, followed by a full appearance with InsaneInTheRain on a funky Monster House (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon) remix. Yesterday, I appeared on  Eric Ls channel (he was the Trombonist that appeared in the Pepsi Jam) for a guitar solo on his Champion Battle (Pokémon G/S/C) remix, which I haven't posted about here yet, so go and check that out!

I'm happy to announce that even more collaborations are in the works! In fact there are 4 confirmed songs on the to-do list that will feature special guests: Daughter of the Dark God, Force Your Way, Kobito of the Shining Needle ~ Little Princess, and Battle of Award 42 will all feature guest artists, some you may be familiar with, and some you may not be, but they're all amazing!

Three of these songs are already near-complete (DotDG, FYW, and KotSN~LP) and I'm only waiting on a few things from the collaborators to finish them up. I know I've kept you waiting a while on 2 of these (DotDG and Kobito) so I figured I'd let you know what the hold up is, haha. Till then, I'll be working on all of the other songs on the to-do list, and will get those collab songs up as I receive the last things I need from my partners. This should hopefully be within the next month.

Oh and, since so many people have been asking me, Zero Two 2019 Ft. Edobean is also happening and nearing completion. :D

I'm hoping to get 2 more songs done this month (Protecting My Devotion and one other I will decide on later in the week), add on top of that receiving those final parts for the 3 near finished songs I mentioned earlier, the to-do list is virtually down to 5 songs. A lot better than we were earlier this year!
