Last GaMetal video for the month, and the 5th track from the Side-Quests 2 album, here's Prince of Darkness from Lagoon!

I like this song a little more every time I hear it. It's really rockin'.

With this video, March is officially in the books! We now look ahead to April... find out which song is up next, later tonight! :O

Till then, thank you all as always for your ongoing contribution and support, we couldn't have awesome months and things like Side-Quests 2 without you!

Prince of Darkness [Title Theme / Final Boss] (Lagoon) - GaMetal Remix

Charting our way into the unknown yet again, we're taking on the title theme and final boss theme, Prince of Darkness, from Lagoon! Although mostly known from the SNES version, Lagoon originated on the Sharp X68000. It has an absolutely killer soundtrack that has gone mostly unnoticed because, well... unless you've actually owned/played Lagoon, you've probably never heard of it! The game itself is similar to the Ys games, so if you're looking for something like that to play, consider giving Lagoon a try. I love when lesser known RPGs get some love :D

I own a copy of this game. It’s really bad. I know it’s really bad. I know this. But I keep forgetting WHY it’s so bad and HOW bad it is. So every few years I end up dusting it off and suffering through an hour or so of it before I remember that no, it really is just that bad. This cover triggered my periodic desire to suffer through it, but I don’t have time for that. So I watched a speed run instead. Less painful that way, but holy crap is the game amateurish! I’m sure it’s someone’s favorite and I’m happy for them, but to me it’s painful. I agree with Jesse above, though. Even if I don’t love the game, I’m glad you made this cover!
