Update Post! February 24th (Patreon)

Hey Patrons! Here's the update post I've been telling you I'd get around to before the upload of today's video (Ellis's Theme). There's not too much to talk about as far as news go, so this will be a brief one.

The entire month of March will be dedicated to the completion and release of Side-Quests Volume 2. Unfortunately I couldn't get it out this month, but I have made good progress on it, so it will be the first (and probably only songs) that will come in March. Like Side-Quests 1, the album will be released to you all here on Patreon in it's entirety once it's completed, followed by the video releases 1 by 1 shortly after (every day or so), with the album download being made available publicly after the release of all videos.

We'll still have our March Request List drawing song as well as a hand-picked song for the month to add to the to-do list, but like the rest of the songs on the list at the moment, they will come after Side-Quests 2.

I'll keep you updated on SQ2 progress throughout the following weeks! But before that...

...there's one more song I wanted to get out before we get into March. That's right, a surprise pick to take us out of February!

With the recent news of a Link's Awakening Switch remake on the way, this is the perfect time to finally get to one of my favorite Zelda songs: Tal Tal Heights! This is one of those songs I've been wanting to get to for years, but haven't found the opportunity. I did put it up in a Discord Request Battle against Molgera, but it got stomped.

Well now I have the perfect excuse!

While this song is on the request list of Emile A., it doesn't qualify for the 'hand-pick' rules, so it won't count towards that. This one is just a personal choice. :)

With that, the to-do list is now:

And that's really all to talk about for now, the video for Ellis's Theme will be up soon, oh and before that, also stay tuned for a preview post of Tal Tal Heights, coming shortly after this post!
