The #3 all-time GaMetal song Dark Star Core has returned to close out this year's May Madness (today is May 46th for those wondering)... here's In the Final from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story!

Of my pre-2015 material, this has always been one of my favorite GaMetal arrangements. I didn't change a whole lot from the 2013 remix, most of the changes are in the background. I'm not sure whether or not I had a choir going in the 2013 remix, but I added it back here along with a lot of other backing parts I left out of the older remix.

There's also a callback to those wacky FF1-style battle animations I made in the old video: our fellow Patron Omegpha created a new battle scene between the GaMetal Mage and Dark Bowser! It's at around the 41 second mark in the video.

Welp, it's time to get back to new stuff! I'll have an update post for you all coming in a few days. Until then, thank you all as always for your ongoing contribution and support! You're the best! :D

In the Final (Dark Star Core) (Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story) - GaMetal Remix (2018)

Dark Bowser and the Dark Star Core have returned to close out this year's GaMetal May Madness! ...wait what do you mean it's not May? When I asked what old GaMetal remixes you'd like to see return this year, I was surprised how many people mentioned Dark Star Core. It's one of my favorite older GaMetal arrangements, so I didn't change a whole lot around in this remake. I mostly filled some spots that were a bit empty in the 2013 remix. Smash calls this song 'The Grand Finale', but before that it's been called 'In the Final' from what I'm assuming is a direct translation. I called it 'Dark Star Core' in 2013 because I wasn't aware of the official name. This is still probably my favorite M&L final boss theme. Enjoy!
