Update AND Preview post! June 23rd (Patreon)

Holy crap! We reached the $800 goal already! You all are so amazing. I don't know what I'd do without you.

This means we're going to have an extra Patreon Drawing! Since the next 2-4 songs are (sort of) already lined up, I'll draw the extra song during the next Request List Drawing on July 5th.

So now let's take a look at July and the rest of June, and heck while we're at it, we might as well talk about August too xD

The next song up is the latest request list drawing winner, Sturm's Theme from Advanced Wars (preview above!). The song is just about finished, so I'm looking to have the video up Sunday.

After that is my handpicked song from the request list, Trap Phantasm. This one I'm hoping to get up on the last day of the month, which is Friday the 30th.

My birthday song will be running a little bit late this year. For those unaware, my birthday is on July 1st, and usually I have a song of my choice out either on this day or the day before (the first 2 being Fierce Battle and Darkwing Duck NES 1-3 Medley). I'm still narrowing down my choices, and once I decide on one for sure I'll let you know. But obviously, with Trap Phantasm coming the day before, my b-day song will be coming out probably about a week after. :)

Progress is being made in the collab with The8BitDrummer, 2 Player from Mean Bean Machine (or Final of Puyo Puyo, whichever you prefer)! I've sent him the guitar/bass tracks, so at this point all I need are his drum tracks/video, and to add the keyboards and finish it up. 8Bit told me he would try to get them done this week, so this is still looking like a solid go for July. Best case scenario, it will be the song up after my birthday song.

Then after that, thanks to you all, we now have not just 1 but 2 drawing songs TBA for July, and then a handpicked song on top of that! So in total, July is looking like a 5 song month. But then things get even crazier!

August, as I talked about in the recent live-stream, is the anniversary of the GaMetal Patreon, and I've decided to dedicate every August from here on out to you all. It's Patron Appreciation Month! We're going to be drawing 3 songs from the Patreon Request list, and choosing songs for NES Medley #5 as well. But we also have another medley to get to from reaching out 777 goal just recently: the Genesis Medley! I actually would like to get out Genesis Medley before NES Medley, so I'll go ahead and confirm that August will be the 3 drawing songs and Genesis Medley. I'll try my best to squeeze in NES Medley, but medleys tend to take me much longer to record than single songs, so there's a realistic possibility it will spill into September (which it did last year :P). Either way, we'll still be choosing the songs for NES Medley in August.

Oh and, I'll be keeping the Genesis Medley entries going for at least a couple more weeks, so remember to get your entry in on the official post. 

One more thing: GaMetal VI ! I mentioned wanting to get this done before the end of the month. I'm about half way through, so it's looking like I'm gonna miss that goal, but I'll still be trying my best to get it done by early July. I'll keep you up to date on the progress in each update post.

That's all for now... as you can see, I still have plenty to do for the next few months. Not to mention all the other things I have planned for later this year.

TL;DR: 800 goal reached, extra request list song will be drawn on July 5th. Sturm's Theme should be out on Sunday, Trap Phantasm on Friday. August will be 3 drawing songs, Genesis Medley, and possibly NES Medley if time permits. GaMetal VI most likely pushed back a little bit to early July. Thanks for being amazing! :)
