Update Post: Atma vs. June! (Patreon)

Hey there Patrons: it's semi-large update post time!

May Madness is now behind us and was, from my perspective, a great success. Everything came out great, and we even managed to squeeze in a surprise 7th song with Bury My Shell at Wounded Knee, which keeps our 7 song May Madness streak alive! I anticipated only having 5-6 initially, since we had an even bigger month in April with the release of the Side-Quest Vol. 1 album videos, but I managed to get just enough done on time to get that one in. 

This brought our total video count for the past 2 months to 18 new videos. That's crazy! Again, without all of your support, I wouldn't have the time to do these sort of things, so once again I can't thank you all enough for everything.

With the busiest 2 months in books, we now look forward at what's to come in June.

One of my first priorities is getting everything set and ordered for the Side-Quest Vol. 1 physical copies. I currently have to design the inside page of the cover as well as the CD art (which will be an edit of the cover art, I'll show you when I get it finished), then get all that info to the manufacturer.  I'm hopgin to have the physicals in hand in about 3 weeks or so. Then we'll be doing the giveaways in the next Youtube stream, as well as a giveaway here. 

Also, I don't know if I said this yet, but all Patrons that made a successful pledge of any amount from the past 3 months (March-May) will be listed on the credits section of the album. Just another small way to show some appreciation to everyone here. :)

Songs for the month! If you're a member of the GaMetal Discord, you are already aware that the first song is the winner of Discord Request Battle II, but for those of you who aren't in the Discord, the next song is...

...a full rendition of all 3 acts of Chaos Angel from Sonic Advance 3! I've always wanted to do a full version of this song since I did it in the first Sonic Fan Medley. It's one of the more underappreciated Sonic tunes out there, plus it's technically not Classic Sonic so that's a bonus for those of you who were wanting more non-classic stuff.

I haven't decided on the other songs for the month yet, plus we'll also be having our monthly Patreon drawing winner, so once those are determined I can lay them out for you.

I've got a crazy load of Acoustic stuff to work on for the Tier 5+'s here, so I'll also be spending a lot of the first part of this month working on those as well (starting with Dark World earlier) Also, I'd really like to get that Gaur Plains full acoustic song done sometime this month. I plan on having a video for that as well for the Atmacoustics channel.

The first ever Patreon-only meeting stream will take place on the 5th (Monday) at around 4:00 PM CST. I'll be discussing some further 2017 plans with you all, and taking input from all of you on things like what you'd like to see more of from me/GaMetal. I'll also be using this stream to do the next Patreon Request drawing. If you've just joined us on Tier 3+ and haven't gotten your requests in yet, be sure to stop by the current Request List post and get your songs up! I'll have it all up to date before the drawing.

For those of you who won't be able to make it, I'll post a recap on here afterwards to fill you in on the highlights.

Currently I'm not 100% sure where exactly the stream will take place, but I'm going to run some tests tomorrow to figure out how exactly we'll go about doing it. Once I figure it out, I'll let you all know ASAP. :)

And now, a first look at the 2016 collection album: GaMetal VI !

Here's the official GaMetal VI album artwork by Kelsey "Nutty" Peterson! It looks amazing xD. Kelsey is also the one that drew the image of me that I use as my current avatar here and also in the Nuclear Fusion video. (She's a Patron supporter here as well, thanks Nutty!)

You may also notice the GaMetal logo is different, this is a new alternate logo that I've been holding on to for a while. This will be it's first official appearance. (Look familiar? It's actually the Perfect Dark font. xD)

This month I'll be starting on the remastering process for all the older 2016 songs (everything before Hopes and Dreams). It's not so much difficult as it is tedious (roughly 1-2 hours per song), so I'm hopeful to get everything done before June is over (there's 28 songs to do). I'll keep you all updated on the progress with each future update post!

So as you could probably tell, even with Side-Quests 1 and May Madness complete, I still have plenty of things to do for the next couple of months xD. I also have some smaller side-things to work on for some people, that I'll talk about later when they're a bit more relevant.

I think that's really it for now, so I'll just close by saying what I always say because I want to make sure you know it, thank you all so much for your ongoing support and generosity! None of these things could happen without all of the support I get from you all on here... I'm eternally grateful!

TL;DR Physicals of SQ1 album coming soon, first song of the month is Chaos Angel from Sonic Advance 3, followed by 1-2 TBA songs and the next Patreon Drawing winner, small acoustic explosion early this month and possibly Gaur Plains full acoustic later, there will be a Patreon-only stream on the 5th (Monday, more info coming soon), GaMetal VI should be ready by late June, and thank you for being amazing!
