I just want to thank everyone for their support thus far.

I'm fully aware that my stuff gets leaked every once in a while on other sites, mostly the weight gain related artwork. I'm not blind to it. I've always known that it'd happen in some way shape or form and I'm aware of the people who post them. I know specifically who posts them, it wasn't hard to figure out. I know some of you pop in every once in a while after some time has passed in order to get whatever new content has appeared within that time due to how I don't time limit my comic work or other content. None of these things were beyond my comprehension or that I didn't think that people find ways to get things for free, I just didn't address them as I'd simply look at the feedback from those posts and learn whatever I could from those situations. Hell, it was about 6 years or so before the first leak actually happened for my weight gain content outside the initial comic leak back in 2015.

I appreciate everyone's support of my work whether it be though subscriptions, buying an art set, word of mouth, leaks on some random site(s) (there have been several that I've come across, even on different language sites that didn't translate my work but posted anyway), and whatever other way you've journeyed over here.

Could I make changes to better optimize my ability to make things more financially viable for myself? Sure, of course I can. I'd rather not toss out the idea of posting comic pages for free with a small gap between public and subscriptions. I mean, that just made sense to me when I grew-up with web comics while all other content I'd considered to be extra and thus would pay for it if I wanted it. Am I able to find stuff for free? Sure, it's not hard to come across paywall content for free even by accident, it just happens. How their creators want to handle those situations is up to them (and sometimes it's not due to differences in laws in other countries). Can I use some DRM program to get everyone's info, change comic pages enough to identify each individual with my work if they were to post them, put in hard time limits so that if you weren't here on the day I posted then you don't get it, or any other method to create FOMO (fear of missing out)? Again, sure, I can do all of that if I wanted to. I just don't cause I'm more interested in improving my work in whatever way possible. Nothing against artists who want to protect their work, completely understand the mentality behind that long as they don't resort to things like doxing.

I get it. I've likely been taken advantage of in several ways through out the years. Some ideas I've gotten for my content, I've adjusted over time so that I can be as fair as I can while still being able to make some form of living off my work. I try to put stuff that I feel is important as work I can post for free with a time gap while other less important stuff is behind a paywall cause it's not actually needed for the main comics. I'm not oblivious that they'd eventually get leaked out in some way, I just deal with it the way I have. Could this be a domino effect that may lead to me drawing less or have to make some major changes to make up for the leaks? It's possible. If I get to that bridge then I'll be sure to let everyone know and what I'd have to do.

As for everyone who has supported me, whether following me on various art sites or subscribed on pay sites, again thank you. Thanks for indulging me by hopping on this ride to see where I'm going with my comics and characters. Whether you have been around since: World Gates, Buckle: Slave & Monster, IHHAT, Black Circus, WARNING: Cream Filled, or any of my other work, thank you for sticking around this long.

I know my artwork still needs improvement/refining in various areas and I'm slowly working on that. Time is definitely a factor that I am working on. I don't like lowering quality for quantity, but I'm aware that I can't always do fully rendered work for comics and realistically I'll have to use other methods to help speed things up. So I'm working on changing how I do things before deciding if using something like Cell Shading should be the method for comics while other single pic pages should get the fully rendered treatment. This is more of a me thing so I'll announce any changes if they are needed in the future, still experimenting so it'll be a while.

Anyway, TLDR; Thank you everyone for your support. I know my stuff gets leaked or posted somewhere that I'm not aware, but the best I can hope is that it draws in more fans who will critique, follow, talk about, support, and whatever else comes of it. I know I can improve and I will continue to improve so thank you for joining me and my artwork.

If you're wondering what sparked this, had a short discussion with Faf on staying focused on their content rather than wasting resources on leaks. There was another discussion about swapping comics to animation, but that's a slightly different topic. But attached is the recent chat between us.

I glad I hopped on your artwork for IHHAT on deviant art and the funny thing was I didn't know it was a wg storyline so you kinda unlocked something within me lol anyways whatever you decide to do I'll be supporting you through thick and thin

Steampunksadmirer

Saw your stuff on furaffinity, back when If hell had a taste was on chapter 4 or 5 have been a loyal fab ever since

Glad I could help because your WG themed arts and comics, mostly IHHAT, Warning: Cream Filled, and Black Circus are what inspired me.

After reading through faf’s chat, i get it. I really do. But if he makes a service harder than piracy, than piracy is the way people will go. Its self fulfilling. I would gladly pay like $15-60 for access to all of hetty or any of his old stuff. In print or in .pdf. The thing is i cant find anywhere to do that. Or even find it in the first place!! Nobody goes to a supermarket in the middle of nowhere.

Darklighteryphon

Glad I could help, your comics and card game have been very entertaining.

You gotta wonder who or what happened to them to hurt them so much that this crusade is self-sustaining cause honestly I thought they stopped making stuff period. Haven't seen any sign of them in years.

I subscribed to FaF's comics for a very long time. He kept changing hosts, and payment options, and adding new stipulations that if people joined fresh, he would dole out the first content he released, and new customers would get (years-old) content at the same rate he originally put it out, because new subscribers don't "deserve" to get everything. Eventually (to my knowledge) he just stopped doing Hetty for one reason or another, and I didn't follow him to his next portal. As someone else mentioned above, I don't even know what he's been working on for the past several years because of how thoroughly he hides it away. Is he making something I would like to see again? Who knows? You can tell how he feels about his business by how viciously (followed by internet smiles) he calls people worms and insects. By contrast, you make your work accessible. I know a lot of it does wind up leaking (I've seen it), but I feel like I'm getting value for my pledge level by not needing to buy your special image packs on their own, and I'd be a real jerk if I said an artist didn't deserve to get paid. You just don't make it feel like getting paid is your first, second, and third concern. And for what it's worth, your work has definitely improved over the years I've followed you, and if you're motivated to keep improving, I'm all for sticking around!

I think I ran across your Sonic comics ages ago, and have followed you since then. I really enjoy your style, and my reciprocation toward that enjoyment is monetary. The side posting of your paid stuff is a terrible side effect of -anything- posted online. I know it happens to Naylor and Fluff as well. I appreciate that you keep things as you are currently, but if ever comes the day you have to resort to more drastic measures, I'll still be in your corner.

Good to know Faf hasn't learned a damned thing all this time.
