Since the results from the latest poll are that most of you guys are OK with AI-art, I decided to have a fiddle with the bing image generator (https://www.bing.com/images/create?FORM=GENILP) and these are what I came up with: https://sta.sh/299dylrrxht?edit=1

The pictures have names so you can see what scene they correspond to (minor spoilers). I made one for every planned tickle scene so far.

It was quite an interesting (and frustrating) process, I have to say. I tinkered a bit with proper tickling pictures, but the filter did not like them very much, and it was hard to get what I wanted, so I settled for 'anticipation' pictures instead. Faces often turned out uncanny, which is partially why. I've uploaded a few failed experiments, cute pictures that I probably won't be using, and some of the better ones too.

Personally, I quite like them, and I think the game would benefit from putting them in as a kind of visual aid (I've always wanted to have pictures accompany my games, but it's not been that realistic budgetary-wise, sadly). However, my two main testers both disagreed strongly about it. One said that it didn't make the anime aesthetics and one said it didn't accurately match the details of the scene and were too generic.

But what do you guys think? These games aren't just mine -- they're yours too, and I really would value your feedback on this.

Oh, and just for some final information, my plan was to have the picture appear during the beginning of the scene and then move to the left/right so it doesn't distract the sprites moving around and stuff.

Please do share your views and vote in the poll. and of course, I welcome any feedback, suggestions, etc. If you guys like the idea, I'll keep on tinkering with AI-art and include it in future games too!
