I usually have a pretty clear idea of what game I want to make next, but this is one of those times where I'm really on the fence, so I'd love to hear what you guys would like to see next! There are a few options and fledgling ideas I have in mind, and I'll probably do another poll with the top 2 options unless there is a massive landslide victory for one of them. And without further ado, the next game...

1. Pokemon Underground 2.

BC has expressed interest in a new one, and his new pictures have provided lots of potential tickle scenes. The gameplay would be similar to the previous one, with 15ish tickle scenes with accompanying pictures/gifs, and with each tickle scene having 4 options. There might also be some simple puzzle gameplay elements. F only.

2. League of Tickles 3.

I did 2 league tickling games, but I've always kept on eye on champions that I might use for a future one. Champions I'm considering: Gwen, Seraphine, Lulu, Soraka, Kalista, Illaoi, Lissandra, Senna, Rell, Taliyah, Qiyana, Orianna, Tristana, Xin Zhou, Aphelios and Alune, Poppy, Sivir, Nilah, Zeri, Renata Glasc. F + M.

3. Cybertickles 2077

Inspired by Cyberpunk, this game takes place in a high-tech, dark, corrupt city, where you play as a group of thieves and plot a series of audacious heists with the help of your loyal crew. You get the attention of ‘Omnicorp’, a group with some fiendish ideas for how to improve office productivity and interrogate prisoners, and the thieves quickly attain power and influence within the company.

4. Yakuza: Like a Tickler

Inspired by the Yakuza series (particularly Like a Dragon), this game takes place in a modern setting and explores some young ticklers joining organised crime, with their own specialised brand of ensuring compliance among locals, negotiating with police and other groups, and interrogating suspicious individuals.

5. Others

I have a few other small ideas, like a Witcher-esque setting, a tickle mafia thing, a cowboy bounty hunter thing, X-com esque one featuring tickling Aliens, 'Subjugation of the Gods' and battling mythological figures -- but I wasn't an enormous fan of them, as some of them felt a bit too same-y to other games I've made or for various other reasons. I'm open to discussing any of them and brainstorming further, though.

So those are the options I'm considering. Let me know what you guys think! Please do leave comments for this one, as it's a rather monumental choice to make!

There will be a big update for the 'Trial of Battle' tomorrow as well for $17+ patrons as well, so do stay tuned for that one! Have a great week, everyone :)

Curious, what were the ideas for the tickle Mafia, XCom aliens and Subjugation of the Gods? Like what were the scenarios, ticklees and characters that you had in mind when thinking about them?

Hey, Bob! For the Tickle Mafia, it was based on this post I came across somewhere (can’t remember exactly) about a John Wick-esque universe about a secret alternative society about tickling instead of assassination. It was called Solletico Society. I copied the full text with the ideas, and I can send the full bit to you if you’re interested. I like the idea, but it has some overlap with the Yakuza in terms of potential lees (celebs, business leaders, meddling policewomen, that sort of thing) and I personally think the Japanese culture angle fits the RPGMaker engine/resources more. XCOM was about fighting sexy (and some not so sexy) aliens who sought to dominate earth by tickling. The high-tech tickle war angle was something I explored quite a lot recently with the two S + S games, so I wasn’t super keen on it. Subjugation of the Gods was about fighting gods and goddesses from the across the various Egyptian, Greek, and Norse pantheons. Folk like Aphrodite, Thor, Isis, etc. It’s an idea that has some fun potential, as you might be playing as some Cthulu-esque entity (it might be a bit like Cult of the Lamb too, if you know that game), but I wanted my next project to have a more modern setting. Which of them do you think has the most potential for a new game? And what did you end up voting for?
