Episode 10 News! (Patreon)

As Episode 9 nears completion, I think it's time to start thinking about the next one. As you may know, I'm planning on sticking with a similar open-ended structure that allows the player to tickle any lee in any order as well as an open world. I plan on covering regions that I didn't explore in the previous game, like Noxus, Piltover, Targon, and the Shadow Isles. I also plan on having the same number of Champions as last time -- 18.

Which leads to this! Here are the 18 Characters I've tentatively chosen. There may be changes (some of you may remember that Kalista and Ezreal were originally supposed to be in Episode 9, but I replaced them with Irelia and Syndra since I was struggling to come up with ideas/scenarios for them), but these are the ones I currently like the most.

But what about the 7 Champions below? Those are the ones I'm also thinking about, but I'm not leaning towards. Think I should definitely include Neeko? Illaoi? Shyvana? Tell me! Give me some ideas for a scenario and a lore-sensible way it would fit with the regions chosen. Oh, and you'll have to kick out one of the 18 Champions above if you want to include them, so let me know which one you'd remove. And of course, you can include a Champion that's not one of the seven. (Oh, and remember there should also be 2 male lees for variety's sake).

I'll put the suggestions into a poll later, so we can all vote on things. 

Champions in the picture in case you aren't sure: Kayle, Morgana, Leona, Diana, Lulu, Soraka, LeBlanc, Elise, Caitlyn, Janna, Camille, Kai'Sa, Sivir, Kalista, Evelynn, Vayne, Ezreal, Tryndamere.

Reserves: Shyvana, Neeko, Twisted Fate, Xayah, Illaoi, Nidalee, Taric.

I would love to see Neeko in Episode 10. Here's what I came up with. Nightmares of the destruction of her home plague Neeko every night, but she can accept the fate of her tribe and look forward to creating a brand new tribe. However, this positive way of dealing with her past isn't necessarily the most healthiest. In her pursuits to making a new community, she neglects and actively avoids including many aspects that were commonplace for the Oovi-kat. While glamouring one of her allies during a match (anyone from Episode 9), she chances upon a curious memory that left an impression on her companion. Tickling! She recounts memories of joyful encounters where the playful banter between her Oovi-kat brothers and sisters would occasionally devolve into rambunctious tickle fights. Or when she

Or when she'd be punished with tickle torture for one of her many pranks. Sometimes she'd steal and trick others just so they'd tickle her. The Oovi-kat not only relied on their words to spread positivity and love. Since her life has evolved into fighting champions and the lonely nights on bustling streets, she finds herself drawn to this memory that resonates with her own life. Not to mention the mystery behind a couple of adventurers tickling their way across Runeterra. And so Neeko follows clues from other champions to locate the party. (Anywhere you'd like) she finds her prize in a busy, bustling city. As she does, she begins toying with them by shifting into them from afar and weaving through the crowed. The group, bewildered and intrigued, follow after their clones until they come upon a part of the city that has become taken over by the wild. Then, she reveals herself, and presents herself in a precarious situation, teasing them into tickling her. They, never to pass up a prime tickling opportunity, indulges her in her game. {This goes on for however you deem fit} And then she easily breaks free and the game evolves into a wholesome tickle fight where alliances are challenged. After everyone has had their fun, she apologizes for her trickery and candidly explains why she sought them out. The twins, with their infinite wisdom, reassures their new friend and explains how she needn't avoid indulgences of her past life in fear of history repeating itself. She feels relieved and thanks them for their words and makes them members or honorary members of her new tribe. Or something nice like that. Really cool idea! But the question is, who would Neeko replace? And truly, thanks so much for taking the time to give such a detailed suggestion :)

That is tricky, but if I really had to replace one I'd take away Leona. I'm probably unimaginative but the only scenario I can think for her is one where she must test her will. And I think her righteous personality would feel familar to what Garen is like in Episode 9. I'd like to see different personalities and how they'd fair when faced with a ticklish situation.

Hmm, but I was planning on Leona and Diana (and Kayle and Morgana) being involved in a double tickle situation due to their complicated relationship with each other. So I’m a little loathe to cut Leona and keep Diana. Any other suggestions? And if anyone else would like to jump in with ideas, please feel free to do so.

That's a fun little idea, but I'm not sure I want Vi and Jinx to make another appearance when they were already in Episode 9 and had their own scene.

I was thinking Nidalee would be a good addition to the episode, especially going well with Neeko considering they're friends. Main reason is because we're missing an amazonian huntress character to play with. I imagine she would be distrusting of outsiders but if Neeko was part of the group, she might be more willing to open up. Alternatively, the group could be without Neeko which means having to avoid traps and attacks from the huntress before they can get to her. When it comes to the tickling part of the encounter, one idea I had was having her cougar friends lap at her feet and perhaps other parts of her body. The clothing she wears makes it easy for the main characters to tickle her all over her bare skin. The scenario could either be a playful tickling to ellict as much giggles and laughter out of her or it could be an endurance test or contest, either to have her hold herself still with her arms up, how long she can get tickled without surrendering or to see how long she lasts without laughing. I figure that would suit a tough jungle huntress like her. As for who to swap out for her, that's a tough decision. If I had to choose any one champion, it would be Caitlyn.

Hey, thanks for the detailed response! The main reason why Nidalee was not one of the lees I'd had initially chosen was mainly because it felt difficult to fit her lore-wise into the episode. She resides in the Ixtal Forest, right? Given that the 4 Regions in this episode are Targon, Noxus, Piltover, and the Shadow Isles, she seemed an awkward fit. I'm willing to be convinced though, if there's a lore-friendly reason for why she might go to those other areas. However, Caitlyn is going to be in the next episode. That’s because I’ve already finished her scene! I’m still testing it now, but her, Camille, and Janna are going to be in the first snippet of Episode 10 that I upload for you guys hopefully tomorrow 😊
