So, one of, what I consider, the selling points of the game is the amount of customization it has. Changing clothes and whatnot, animations that have a lot of options. I want to keep all of that, but we need to slightly change how it works.

First, we will make it more like a sequence this time. I'm posting how a sequence like that would work!

Second, reduce the number of backgrounds. As it will work now, it will hopefully make the game need even fewer backgrounds. What we will use is blurred backgrounds for the scenes.

What do you guys think about these changes? Do you like the sketches?

Really smart way of doing things for customization! Does that mean gems could have shapeshifted scenes in the (probably far) future?

Since the idea is to reuse some of the scenes in the future, absolutely. However, it was always in our plans to make Amethyst likely the recipient for most shapeshifting scenes, since she was the most proficient shapeshifter. In fact, the one small shapeshift scene in the game is an Amethyst scene, but we want full shapeshift as well. As for having it as an option as it would be a costume/accessory option, that's out of the question because of how hard it would be to implement
