Sonic blast from the past! (Patreon)

Hi mutants! Time for some sweet music and a history lesson!

Here's something I found today, a Soundcloud link buried deep in my documentation.
When looking for someone who could deliver quality and exclusive music for the game, in 2014. I contacted Dynatron aka CenobiteDK aka Jeppe Hasseriis. You can see he likes his nicknames as much as I do xD

We quickly agreed that he would give a try at our main theme! 

I knew he was more into synthwave than dark ambient but I got the feeling he's more than capable of creating the proper mood. I just needed to point him in the right direction. 

I sent him the game's story summary, Mark Morgan's soundtrack and eagerly awaited for his music.

To my surprise, he replied immediately the next day with the 7 songs I'm posting here.
I was disappointed to say the least because I thought he probably found some old demos and sent them our way. 

He remained true to the synthwave genre even though promising to make dark ambient music. That was definitively a deal breaker for us. I expected the songs to push the right buttons, but they haven't really.

On top of that, he informed us he'll be charging $500 per song explaining how his song was recently included in a Matthew McConaughey's movie and he's made it big.

We thanked him, told him we couldn't afford it and that extensive changes would first have to be made to the songs so they fit with Mark Morgan's soundtrack. 

It's interesting he didn't yet delete the songs from his Soundcloud.
Maybe he forgot about them or he's hoping for us to change our minds!
