HEY EVERYONE!

So, I've been thinking about making some changes to this Patreon
for the longest time...
I've mentioned this earlier but I've never really committed.

The short of it, I want to focus again on making comics and art instead of reaching a certain quota for the month. This means some months could be slower than others, content wise (since comics take time to make, specially the longer ones)
So, I’m trying to look for ideas for some additional/complementary stuff?
something that doesn’t take much time out of me working on comics and the main stuff.

Also, I thought it could be a good chance to ask you guys what would you like to see different around here?  what kind of content would you like to see more? And as mentioned before, what kind of additional/complementary stuff would you be interested in?  maybe more sneakpeeks?
sketches? Step by step process?

Anyway, I don’t have a clear idea yet about what I‘m gonna do, so…
feel free to post your ideas and suggestions below! c:

I'm down

as long as it means we get “the further adventures of Blondie” then I’m down ! 😆

I love hearing this. Your comics are some of the best and I personally prefer a comic to the two or three page short stories. I think waiting a little longer is a perfectly acceptable sacrifice! ☺️

Your longer comics are why I subscribed! You make incredible art. Here for whatever plan you put in place.

Janus Rain

I'm honestly okay with whatever! Maybe sketches and doodles while you work on longer comics!

1. What if / Crossover / Team-ups of characters from your stories that you like to draw, are easy and fun for you to draw, just as creative play. Putting some of your established characters in fun situations might be fun for you to draw and might give you ideas for their mainstream / canon comics. 2. Maybe a brief diary / description of what you have been working on or wanting to work on, so if you are working on something, let's say like 'Raan's Doll' ZOAT or Insta-Cosplay, that a lot of people are invested in and love, they can at least know that you're doing something in that space, even if you don't produce anything you're happy with. Reflecting / journaling what you're doing may also give you a better idea of what you want to work on. 3. If you don't like concentrating on one thing for a long period of time, choose a bunch of projects that you want to work on, big or small, and put them in a rotation. Work on one thing until you get stuck, then switch to the next. Just publish what you get finished in each turn. The projects you are enjoying will make faster progress, but they also might give you ideas for the ones that you aren't too caught up in at any time. 4. Have a regular suggestion box / poll from Patrons that you work on maybe one day per week or however you do your workflow. Pick something from that and work on it until it's finished or until you get stuck and want to work on a different suggestion.

I’m a sucker for behind-the-scenes content, which can double as sneak peeks, while I patiently wait for what’s to come with Raan’s Doll (the story that resonated with me the most and brought me here, as the protagonists and journey remind me of me a fair bit in some ways).

I don't think you've drawn anything I didn't like. I don't pay for the higher tiers, so I don't care about quantity of output so much, as long as quality is maintained. That said, I can see if you cut back output how some of the folks paying higher amounts might feel shortchanged.

Sketches and art study sketches that you're happy with would be my recommendation. Love seeing the variable style stuff that you explore.

DJ

I'm a fan of your more complete storie lines, and expanded stories. The internet is filled with millions of short one-offs and unfinished/unexplored stories. I find these to be unfulfilling compared to your stories that have a payoff at the end and "feel complete".

Content I'd definitely be interested in (to take some stress off you) are sketches, step-by step, and maybe revising old material. On the other side, I'd definitely be interested in longer stories and such - I'm a writer by trade, so always love full-length stories.

Teryaki

I'll just say that I'm here for the sum of your output, however long a particular idea takes. "It'll be done when it's ready" is fine by me.

John Doe

I'm only interested in long stories. The shorts are just a let down. Things like ZOAT and Raans Doll are the only reason I am here. I'd rather go a month with zero content, then get a short. If that means we get progress on a big comic... Speaking of Do you remember Raans Doll I miss it...

InstaCosplay and Raans Doll

Alfons

All the comics, long and short, are great! Love them all!

Claire Poole

if possible, i would like to see more of raan's doll.

Katherine

I'll keep supporting you, even if you slow down. I want you to enjoy the art you make!

I'd rather wait longer for comics than get several shorts

100% agree on sketches, anatomy studies, practice pieces and things unrelated to any running comic or character. Even though you may think it sucks, I personally always find those sorts of things fascinating. Watching an artist hone their craft and see their style evolve is always interesting.
