Hey everyone! I have a fun little update I wanted to share with you all in addition to the new map post made earlier today. 

I made some updates/changes to my Descrated Chapel map I created for the Lunch Break Hereos adventure; Hell Comes Knocking. 

You can find the original post with the adventure PDF I made a while back here

For this update, I made the following changes:

  • Moved the second floor to be aligned with the library (instead of the upper left)
  • Created a second-floor variant of the map to be more aligned with how I create my multi-level maps
  • Added a roof-level
  • Created a wooden walkway that surrounds the courtyard below with a bell near the entrance. I also added two doors to the 2nd-floor office, which allows entry to/from the walkway
  • I updated the color moods to be more aligned with what I've been doing recently
  • Created a nighttime variant with lighting (the chapel candlelights look so creepy illuminating the desecrated bodies!) 
  • Resized the map to be an even PPI for VTT use 
  • Added updated fog/rain/sun rays

In the future, I might make a version that is not desecrated, as I like the layout of this little chapel and its grounds. But for now, I hope you'll enjoy these updates, and I hope it will inspire a creative encounter to add to your various games.
