This was one of my least favourite episodes so far, it was still entertaining enough though :) I still love actual books too, most of them I find or order second hand. Most of my true crime books are on my devices (because of not having the space for them) but for some reason I prefer having physical books for mysteries, legends and folklore. Never really got into audio books to be honest but I listen to true crime and mystery podcasts pretty much every day. It's crazy how easily we can access so much in so many different forms nowadays. And lots of it for free.

A lot of books have too many words in them. I should know. I'm an accountant.

I totally understand 👍 We found Ebay has alot of books second hand for really good prices. Alot of them are library copies once a book has been out for a while and they don't need as many they sell them. Tay really likes true crime too lol, she listens to the podcasts on walks with the dogs 🤣🤣

Yeah ebay is great for cheap books, that's where I often get mine from :) Scaring herself a little bit I bet 😅 I listen to them when I'm walking to and from my mum's house (she's disabled and I'm her carer) it's about an hour's walk each way so perfect time to listen to my true crime podcasts, it can get slightly unnerving in the winter when it's dark by 5pm and I'm in a less busy area :D Makes me stay aware of my surroundings though lol!

I buy paperbacks in charity shops and just donate it to another when I'm done

Jay Big bollocks I do that too, I used to do a bit of volunteering in a charity shop and found some great books in there as well. My local hospital is only 10 mins down the road and they have a load of book shelves in the foyer, I find some good ones there too for about 25p-50p each book with the money going to the hospital. Then when I'm done I donate most of them back so they can be resold.

Cool that you've been reading Warhammer books. If you haven't yet check out the Gotrek and Felix books, and the Ciaphas Cain books. They're a bit more pulpy and goofy and I really enjoyed them. Ciaphas Cain also often gets called Blackadder in space, so I'm sure you'd like it.
