Peolpe say Brits drink warm beer but that's not really true. A lot of ales can be served at room temperature (which is still pretty cool) it's just not overly cold as many beers around the world are served, especially in places with warmer climates.

Yeah, if you ask for a pint of lager in the UK, you'll get it as cold as anywhere in the world, if not colder but the myth about this is from the 2nd world war and started by the Americans (a bit like they did about our poor quality food and dodgy teeth reputation as well lol), where real ales/beers were more popular and served at room temperature. Real ales and local beers have made a comeback lately and should be served at room temperature as the extreme cold kills the flavours and taste. If you want a cold beer while in the UK, just ask for a pint or bottle of lager.

If I had a family member like horrible grandma I would have nothing to do with them. I have 2 or 3 people in my family who are 10% as bad as she is and I avoid them at all costs!
