Anne (the widow that Tony meets in the graveyard) and Paul (newspaper owner) are named after the characters that the actors Penelope WIlton and Peter Egan play in the sitcom 'Ever Decreasing Circles' - one of Ricky Gervais' favourites. It's one of my favourites as well. Recommended to anyone watching here - it's quite gentle and quaint, but very funny.

I never get sad over humans dying, even people I know, I have just never felt sadness to it. However when my dog died, that got to me, for some reason I get sad over animals.

Opposite to a ‘feel good series’, this must be a ‘feel bad series’. Still good though. He must have opted for the 10TB hard drive on that laptop, More videos than Netflix. I’m not sure if the laptop got damaged beyond repair, if that would be a good or bad thing. I expect that’ll be addressed in Season 3.

Takes a bit of the suspense away knowing there'll be a season 3. I watched this as soon as it came out, and I was on the edge of my seat at the ending!

Oh man I miss that and also don't. I like to be able to binge watch shows here and there but I do miss the feeling of not knowing what will happen, and waiting for a whole new season.

Said it before but Ricky Gervais acting in this is brilliant, especially when he gets upset, I’ve seen far more highly regarded actors be less real and believable than that

Ricky is infectious, when he laughs you cant help but laugh, but also the same when he cries, i tear up everytime i watch it, he's utterly brilliant as is everyone else in this.
