I hate Dobby, she's a killjoy like Cassandra in Only Fools. And I think she has been a right bitch above the whole moving in thing, she has been leading him on, he's just too much of a wimp to do anything.

The station from which they catch the train is Marylebone station in central London, which was seen once before in S3E2 when Mark meets Sophie coming back from Bristol. It actually serves the Chiltern Line, which doesn't go anywhere near the Quantocks or Bristol but rather to the West Midlands. Bit of British transport trivia for you there. I think S8 is definitely one of the weakest, but this episode is a very good chaotic ending. The football scene sort of sums up everything unlikable about Simon and his mates, taking a casual game of five-a-side incredibly seriously, and Mark's terribleness is hilarious. Mark was very strange at times but I did feel a bit sorry for him with Jez sabotaging his big proposal, and Dobby's mixed signals throughout S8, although one wonders if was on the cards since she had begun to realise what an oddball Mark is.

"Do a little run" Not sure why I find this line so hilarious but it's the most memorable part of the episode for me!

Totally. I remember when this season finished and it was like the end and it hadn’t really resolved much. 9th season is set 6 months later but in real time it was 3 yrs later they did the last season and just my opinion but one the best seasons. ( I know everyone has different views)

when its over it needs to be replaced with that Mitchel and Webb look , please add it on the next poll josh , the first time it was on a poll it came second and was never seen again! only 10% of the entire show is on youtube you're missing out on SO many sketches by leaving in to youtube , just like The Armstrong and miller show , just as legendary

Pretty much everyone agrees that this is the worst episode of the whole show. Season 9 gets better for the most part.

I personally disagree. I like this ep. It's like both Mark and Jez's chickens coming home to roost. Plus "usually I can't wait 5 minutes without having a wank or a spliff or a chocolate biscuit" gives me flashbacks to my time at uni.

Interesting bud thanks for sharing! Season 7 wasnt my favorite man I do agree. I enjoyed it but I enjoyed other seasons much more. I am bummed that this show is so close to being done =/

There is a show called 'A Touch of Cloth' that is exceptional. It's made by the guy who made Black Mirror. Fantastic comedy, made up by 3 series of 2 parts each. I'd say it's sort of an English take on the Naked Gun sort of humor. Can't recommend it enough!
