Excellent episode this season is really off to a great start .Both episode were fun and hilarious. This episode was great I cracked up when the blow up dolls popped up from behind the bar . That would be creepy for sure lol. I love how fast Rodney and Del took off running leaving uncle Albert behind lol.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

Still waiting to see you in a flat cap Josh lol

AWR93

Hahaha when the dolls blew up behind the counter and everyone bolted 😂😂😂

Teddy Alison

That blow up doll scene is iconic. Especially the part where Del and Rodney are standing outside the flat with the dolls and Del does an impression of the doll 😂

Fridges in the UK are a lot smaller than in America. I imagine it's simply the fact that our houses are so much smaller on average. Of course you can get the massive US style ones, but I rarely see them.

I love when Rodney says they sell the dolls in magazines for kinky & sleazy men and then pulls the magazine out 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Phil Spicer

You know you're well into a series when you start singing the theme tune!! Still watching. One of my favourite episodes

Michael

Holy shit Prince Philip just died

Kieran B

Clayton Cooper (the rather blind old man) looks so much like my grandad it makes that scene extra amusing 😂

Kieran B

I think the water was just to keep them cool because they inflate and explode when they get warm

Brilliant episode. The way Del Boy says "Good evening" in a Jamaican accent is too funny.

Gary Tamblyn

I love the bit, after the first doll pops up, when Del and Rodney run out of the flat. They close the door on Albert, he opens it, they close it again. Perfectly choreographed. 😂

I think S6 is perhaps my favourite series of OFAH. it's the first one that has a real story arc that spans across the whole series, which I quite like, and this is one of the best episodes from it. The specials at the end are excellent too. I think Denzil is one of my favourite straight men for Del to interact with. He's so easy going and passive that he's exactly the sort of person to get pulled into ridiculous schemes like this one, but those traits also make him one of the most likeable characters and you feel a huge amount of empathy for him too as he gets railroaded into things. Watch out for Del Boy's dodgy VCRs later in the series, because they make a return appearance.

Gary Tamblyn

A lot of good episodes ahead in Season 6. A good story in the next one (“Chain Gang”), and “The Unlucky Winner is” is brilliant. However I do think things get a bit weaker with the specials after Season 7. Miami Twice I think is where the standard starts to drop off a bit (for me).

I think the UK tower blocks such as they live in are a perfect analogy for the US projects...most of the tower blocks have gone now too, though there are still a few here and there, though hopefully most residents have gone on to better housing. I think there's a lot of wisdom in what Del said; don't be ashamed of where you live, but its OK to want better. I think he's a very wise dude sometimes.

Josh, you sounded slightly cockney as you sung along to the theme tune.

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Haha I used to love this one when I was a kid (still do!) Really enjoyed this thanks Josh and I like when you relate things you see in the programme to things in your own life growing up etc. It's good that that connection is there despite being from a different country, it's still really relatable. They were spraying them with water to keep them cool as heat makes them inflate and explode :) When I was a kid it never occurred to me that they could obviously have just put them in bin bags to get them to the car rather than dressing them up lol but that wouldn't have been as funny obviously :D Also, Del calls them Pepsi and Shirley - they were the backing singers for the 80s band Wham (a black and a white woman) in case you didn't get that reference.

NEXUS

Another crazy episode . Im Pretty sure they were wetting them to keep the cool as it was heat that makes them explode, plus it added to the visual comedy of the moment

And that's why it's one of my favourite episodes! I damn near pissed myself the first time I saw it when the dolls first popped up behind the bar so Del and Rodney legged it and left Albert behind! A few references for you: - When Rodney said the VCR's were probably made in Taiwan, Del smugly said that they were from Formosa. The Republic of Formosa was what Taiwan was before it became Taiwan. - Mike sells Denzil a beef stew for £1, he then calls it a "boeuf bourguignon" (which is a beef stew) to the snobby guy who's obviously not a local for £2.50. - When Rodney says the police would probably chuck them in Broadmoor if they caught them walking around with the dolls. Broadmoor is a high-security psychiatric hospital often used to house the criminally insane, such as serial killers etc. - When Del says to the homeless people (who think the dolls are women) after they've exploded that they shouldn't have had the mutton vindaloo. A vindaloo is an extremely hot curry, which would give the average person explosive diarrhoea. Glad you enjoyed this episode! (bit of a shame that the thumnbail spoiled the fact it was about adult dolls for you though)

The next episode is a classic can't wait to see what you think of it

If you have sex with one of those dolls, you have issues and need to seek help.

Andrew

No need to cut and edit your intros and outros like that,I enjoy listening to you rambling on and your stories

Next week's episode is my favourite

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

I can't believe I only noticed whilst watching it this time that Denzil ends up with two bowls of beef stew lol. When Del comes in the pub he orders his pina colada and 'the same again for Denzil' (not realising Denzil had only ordered stew not a drink). After Del and Denzil go and sit down Mike brings another bowl of stew over for Denzil and he looks disappointed when he sees what he's got instead of a drink haha.

Josip Buretic

That was another great episode and awesome reaction!! 🤣🤣🤣

Keith Pratt

That was Denzil's first appearance in three years, his last episode before this was "To Hull & Back".

AfterWorkReactions

The doll scene was hilarious man, I agree this was a great episodes. For sure up there with one of my favorites so far. Thanks for that info man, very helpful. Take care!

AfterWorkReactions

That is awesome, yea I can really relate to somethings in this show especially. I really enjoyed this episode and I was cracking up during the doll scene it was awesome. Oh ok lol I didn't get the Wham joke but it totally makes sense now. Thanks again take care!

Mr K

Digress as much as you like, Josh. Always enjoy character development and backstory. 😉

Hey Josh so glad your enjoying the show you kept wondering why Denzil didn't turn up to warn Derek about the explosive dolls. He did turn up at the flat in his van but just after Del and uncle left for dirty Barry. Great review and reaction as always.

Anonymous

Why didn’t denzil go straight to Del’s flat instead of the pub?
