Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

This was a great episode to end the season with. Rodney trying to be a bad boy was fantastic he scared the shit out of that poor girl lol. I love how Del was lying his ass off at the dating agency and on his date. I usually find most romance kind of cheesy, but they did a good job with Del and the girl. Sucks they didn't end up together, I was rooting for them to at least be friends. The joke Del played on Albert was hilarious, sucks it ended in Del getting heartbroken, it didn't take away from how funny the scene was though. I covered most of what I wanted to say at the end. Hopefully you folks are having a fantastic Friday !!!!

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

Season 6 here we come!!

Anonymous

Entering golden OFAH territory now, in my opinion

Anonymous

I'm so excited for what is to come, absolute consistent gold on its way!

Anonymous

just waiting for the video to process, so hyped for this one!!

Joe S

One hub video not loading

Anonymous

A small easter egg I only noticed while watching the reaction is Raquel says she had a small part in Doctor Who and the Waiter is played by Nicholas Courtney who had a big recurring role in Doctor Who during the classic era

Ryan Lynch

Just do us all a favour and make every night OFAH night from now on :)

Shaun Lavin

Won’t load for me either

Anonymous

Has anyone managed to get a working link yet??

Anonymous

No links working for me

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

The media fire link worked for me for the first 15 mins then stopped (could be my shitty internet connection tho) I usually use one hub or Google drive but neither of them will work for me. Probably because too many people are trying to access them at the same time. Guess I'll have to give it an hour or two and try again :/

A

I’ve been waiting for this era to start. This is the only fools & horses I loved and remembered. Hopefully a link works soon so I can watch your reactions :)

Anonymous

The amazing thing about Only Fools is that it only had one writer, the late great John Sullivan. Lots of sitcoms these days are written by pairs or even huge writing teams.

Anonymous

Can’t wait for Yuppy Love next week! So many brilliant episodes in the next series

Hesketh

Loved your reaction, Love this show , grew up on this, as people said it just gets better.

Steve King

Same here. Probably worth explaining. Josh that a "yuppy" was a well-dressed middle-class person with a high paid job in the 80s/90s. Think of the people that could afford those massive first-gen mobile phones LOL.

NEXUS

So much to process in this episode, it is one of the best written episodes and really shows how John sullivan can take you from laughing you arse off from one scene to another and then drop some serious drama and hearty moments on you. Definitely an episode that shows the best of comedic writing combined with on point acting and full of heart scenes. Plenty more to come, next episode is Yuppy love and I encourage you to make sure you get the full episode as they have butchered a massive part of it on some services due to music rights. It's meant to be 47 minutes and 33 :edit (its meant to be 50 minutes long) seconds long the full episode. I think amazon has it, Netflix UK does not even have this episode from my checking.

NEXUS

Strange it's cut, I had a quick look and it states 47 minutes long on UK amazon. Maybe iTunes/apple tv has it as apple payed all the music rights long ago and has a lot of the episodes uncut.

Mike Doel

Takes a little while for them to process the mp4

Anonymous

Its a little known fact that he also wrote and sings the theme tune too, believe it or not.

Mr K

I only just noticed during this that it was him, despite all the times I've seen this? 😂

Keith Pratt

I thought it was cut on all platforms. I'm sure 47 minutes 33 seconds is the length of the cut version. The scene is uploaded in full on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGTw-ObUh_E

Gary Tamblyn

I’m glad you enjoyed it, I knew you would. Bear in mind the last 3 episodes weren’t technically Season 5, they were all feature length Christmas specials, each shown 1 year apart, while the show was taking a break, so don’t expect the same blockbuster budgets for the return of the regular weekly episodes in Season 6. They are brilliant though.

Austin Stratton

The whole black ball and white ball thing is true for Masonic introduction.. that's where the black ball phrase comes from.

NEXUS

Yes I was wrong as I checked Wikipedia for quick reference, I've just put my episode on and it's 50 minutes long the version with full scenes and original audio. Im sure apple would have it but can't check that versions length.

NEXUS

No next episode Yuppy love, uncut it's 50 minute's.

Mick Mills

Brightened my day watching this. It can't just be that I am older now, old comedy was way better than it is today. There is very little new comedy that I can get into now, only really look forward to new Ricky Gervais stuff now.

Season 6 has the best episodes you're in for a treat 😊

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Been trying to get it to come on for 4 hours lol :/ looks like it'll have to be tomorrow now.

Anonymous

Mike behind the bar spitting his cigarette out when Del Boy rips the Police Woman’s top open gets me every time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Anonymous

Yes please I hate waiting a week! Especially now he’s getting onto the good episodes, going to be months before he finishes! 😭

Kieran B

Although he was lying about a lot there I don’t think he was strictly lying about being a man of the arts, he *thinks* he is cultured, but really isn’t

Anonymous

Del Boy really shows his kind nature in this episode. He might be quick to hustle but he’s a good guy who wants to help people and see people do well.

Sam Dilks

I've never known glory like it, when through the whole strip dance I didn't want you to notice it was Raquel until the reveal - it was sooo satisfying to see your reaction that whole scene. Your "oh shit" has never been more worth it, than at that precise moment

Anonymous

This was such fun watching your reaction to this well written OFAH Josh, I felt that the writer tried to evoke all kinds of emotions out of the viewer and as always I enjoyed your review at the end. It's become quite addictive these reactions I felt like I got my hit for the evening Lol thanks Josh

BelladonnicHazeyJaneII

Ah this was one of my favourite reactions you've done ☺ I'm so glad you didn't realise the lady officer was Raquel until the perfect moment! And I'm so glad you enjoyed it so much. Great hearing your thoughts at the end as always. Thanks Josh, it was worth the wait.

Anonymous

Though it was a very popular show by about season 4 onwards you’re now entering the golden years of the show...and I, for one, am enjoying watching you discover each episode and special! By the way, it’s not really important, but technically season 5 finished after Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. The episodes A Royal Flush, The Frog’s Legacy and Dates were all one off Christmas specials show around Christmas of 1986, ‘87 & ‘88 respectively. Strap yourself in for season 6 now!

David Lyons

"Anyone can be in the masons, we've got all sorts." "Yeah, so has Bertie Bassett." To answer your question of 'who?', Bertie Bassett is the mascot of Bassett's Liquorice Allsorts, a uk brand of mixed liquorice sweets. Great video, Josh, can't wait for you to see some of the upcoming episodes! I have vague memories of watching some of the episodes from the next series with my family as a kid when they aired on tv, so starting to get some real nostalgia :) Oh and screw EastEnders, Only Fools was THE programme to watch at Christmas back then :)

(Just) Steve

- The indifferent look on Albert's face when Rodney confronts him that he didn't see an aircraft carrier in broad daylight cracks me up every time! - I love Boycie's monologue about when the Trotters arrived in Peckham. "A hundred years after that The Black Death (The Plague) arrived in England... the people of Peckham thought their luck had changed." - One joke that went over your head: Boycie: "We're not snobs! Anyone can join, we come from all walks of life. We've got estate agents, a judge, a commisioner of police, the mayor, we've got all sorts." Rodney: "Yeah, so has Bertie Bassett." Bertie Bassett is the mascot for Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts (a variety of Liquourice confectionery) - Another one, when Albert saw Rodney dressed up in the leather jacket and he said he was taking a girl out, Albert asked, "Where are you taking her then, Scrumping?". Scrumping is a slang term for stealing apples (and other fruit) from an orchard. - When Raquel turned up as the stripper I was waiting to see your reaction. "Has he noticed? Has he noticed yet? He still hasn't noticed! There it is!" lol - Del's "He who dares, wins" comes from "Who Dares Wins", which is the motto of the Special Air Service (SAS), an elite special forces unit in the British military.

Jay

It was so well done. Even when you see her face, it's still difficult to connect her as Raquel. It's probably because the viewer doesn't expect it.

Anonymous

It's really not... I mean it took me 2 minutes to check and they're quite different.

Anonymous

"Take a fifty pence piece for the phone box!"

Josip Buretic

That was amazing episode and a great reaction!! Cannot wait for the next episode!! Cheers Josh

Teddy Alison

Glad you enjoyed this one Josh! Really is a fantastic episode. Can’t wait until next series you’re gonna love it!

Mike Doel

One of the strengths of OFAH is that you can relate to the characters so well, which makes the comedy so much sharper. I see you noticing Rodneys subtle expression over Derek Duval. Priceless. And thats also why you need to watch this series from season 1, the stories may not be as good but you need to learn the characters. Your in a great place Josh, they get better and you get the characters :)

Jehan Ariyaratnam

This is probably one of the best episodes they made. Great storyline, funny, twists and turns and some emotion too. Just to explain when Rodney says "so's Bertie Bassett". There are sweets in England or "candy" as you guys say called Bertie Bassett's liquorice allsorts which comes in a bag with a mixture of different types of liquorice sweets. When Boycie said we have "allsorts" when referring to the Masons, that was Rodney's sarcastic way of saying "no you don't"

AfterWorkReactions

Thanks for the info bud. I totally agree this was a great episode, I enjoyed it a whole lot. Take care and have a great week!

AfterWorkReactions

I totally agree man the characters are so relatable in this show. Thanks man I am looking forward to checking out more of the show.

AfterWorkReactions

Thanks bud, I really enjoyed it a whole lot. I am excited for the next series as well I keep hearing how great it is.

When del says he who dares wins is taken from the motto of the SAS ( The British special forces) their motto is who dares wins

Jack Veazey

What a great episode haha
