Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

This was a decent episode the black face scene cracked me up . It was super silly and the guy apologizing on behalf of the entire black community was icing on the cake. The git surfing was hilarious along with the old guy not realizing he was describing Batman . I am really excited about next weeks episode so many people have said how great it is .

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

Hey Josh. There are meant to be 7 episodes overall - 6 in the original series and a further special episode. With you saying you're looking forward to the last one already, I'm worried you don't have the 7th...

Anonymous

Just checking that you're aware of the 7th special episode - I think this is the one people keep hyping up (not the next 6th one) as it is truly outrageous.

Yeh like mentioned by other people I think they are talking about 7th episode. I’ve never seen it so both could be great. But I looked it up and there are 6 in the original series and one special making 7 episodes

It's funny how they always roll out a black person to talk for every black person ever. Always phrases like "The Black community" or "People of colour"...... wtf? These same people do not roll out someone for the "white community", as if all races get together and have a meeting lol. The people of colour thing annoys me, it's just a phrase for them to say "white and everyone else". All the media tries to do today is split everyone into race :/ Growing up in the 90s race didn't even come into it, no one cared... but suddenly now they want to judge everyone on the colour of their skin. You see their true thoughts come out like when Kelly Osbourne tried to attack Trump by saying "if you stop these people from coming, who will clean our toilets" or whatever she said :/ So pathetic, and it has nothing to do with race, and everything to do with moving to a new country with no education and starting at the bottom.

There's definitely a lot of Brit related humour in this one that doesn't translate well, as the humour was mostly based on Brit minor celebrities pretentiously believing that they're important enough to act as spokespersons against criminality. If you don't know who they are, then it loses a lot of the humour. Although to be fair, that whole section wasn't really up to the previous celebrity baiting, so I completely get why you didn't enjoy those parts. Great reaction as always.

The 7th episode special is coming up 😍 one of the most batshit insane bits of British comedy ever broadcast, I cannot WAIT to watch it with ya Josh!

Steve King

It's the seventh episode, actually a one-off special that you refer to Josh when you talk about it getting the show cancelled. Although Wikipedia also uses the term "cancelled" don't think that fair because it had already finished years before. The original 6 episodes aired in 1997 and the Paedogeddon special wasn't made until 2001 so the show had already been off the air for 4 years by that point and it was a one-off episode, there weren't any plans to make another one so I think saying it got it cancelled is a bit misleading.

David Lyons

The crazy amount of gun related puns in the church segment, the analogies Ted Maul uses that are actually complete nonsense ('codger' is slang for an old person by the way)...so many rapid fire great lines in this one! Although having knowledge of the British celebrities does help in getting some of the references. For example, at the time the MP Michael Portillo had rumours dug up by the press about his homosexual experiences in his youth, so having 'Portillo' as prison slang for 'look out behind you'...well, you know. Also a 'Gazza' being a 'gas coin traded for cigarettes' is a reference to Paul Gascoigne (AKA Gazza) a very famous heavy smoking footballer at the time, how nobody realised that what they were reading out was utter bollocks we'll never know...

A lot of other comments have already mentioned this, but please make sure you watch the Pedogeddon special episode from 2001, one of the most complained about TV shows in history.

Geoffrey Boycott, a former England cricket player, was the man who talked at length about getting out of bed. He was renowned as a player for playing long, drawn-out innings and basically going into business for himself, and his self-importance and arrogance made a lot of his own teammates hate him. Hence the length of his monologue, I suppose. This would've been around the time he was given a suspended prison sentence in France for assaulting his girlfriend.

Made me laugh at the end there Josh “I would say I enjoy sex and drugs more than this” 😂

So great to watch this stuff again after so long. If 'The Day Today' never makes your lineup you should still watch it. It combines Alan Partridge with Brass Eye and has some genius comedy moments.

Least favourite so far. The ha ha moment was after when Josh said he preferred sex and drugs. I think most people would agree Josh :)
