I still have hope for Mark and Dobby, but it isn't looking good. With Mark's luck, I should have known it would be his kid. The dude had a one-night stand with his ex and now he has to raise a kid with her. I might be biased because I am a big dork so I gravitate towards Dobby, she might not even be the right person for the dude. Hell, he might end up with someone else , but for the moment I hope they work things out lol.

This episode has got me thinking, where does lying about the baby rank on the worst things Jeremy has done to Mark during the course of Peep Show? It's one of the few times Mark's downfall isn't entirely (although it is partially) because of his own greed or selfishness or stupidity, and I do find myself feeling a bit sorry for him, which doesn't happen very often. I actually remember watching this episode when it aired quite vividly, and crying with laughter when Mark electrocutes himself on the doorbell. Jeremy comparing the boiler to the Jesus and Mary Chain is probably one of my favourite lines too.

The actors talking straight to camera, is what makes this show. I’m curious if they used two cameras back to back and recorded scenes with two at the same time, or if everyone does their piece to camera separately. It’s a perfect filming style for socially distancing.

In the earlier seasons they had cameras they would fix to the actors head but mostly ...Everyone does their piece to camera and the director or someone reads the lines of the other person. That what makes marks looks and freak outs such good acting heh

Absolutely love Jez’s line about being a feminist. Marks internal dialogue when thinking about spending £1000 to fix the boiler is classic peep show.

Mark when hes furious is the funniest thing😂 Underrated line didnt get much reaction from you but cracks me up every time. When Jez hears Mark screaming fuck and loudly banging asks 'is he.... having the hardest sex ever?' Comes out to see him hitting the boiler 'no.... of course not'. 😂

Remember that from first time I saw it, inbetweeners shameless stole that joke. In wills home alone, they wake up drunkenly and the guys garden they destroyed is banging on the door and will says “ is that jay having the most aggressive wank ever ?!”

Makes it really easy to learn lines I’d imagine, with the possibility of reading just before each part is recorded, multiple versions of the same bit can be done, so the director can find the funniest take. Actors can be absent during the other persons takes, so if someone is off sick it doesn’t always hold up filming. I wonder why it’s not done a lot more ?

I'm my opinion, Season 6 is the only week season in Peep Show. There's some arverage episodes in there and it gets weeker by the episode in S6 but the good news is that gets back its best in season's 7, 8 and 9.
