Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

Excellent episode it lived up to the hype it was very funny. Especially when he yelled at Micheal for attempting to tell the ending of the movie while he was explaining it lol. his interaction with Tex in the gas station was hilarious as well. When he told his girl I love you in a way the first thing I thought was I'm going to say that to Tay the first chance I get lmao. Alan being a dick cracks me up but I do feel bad for Lynn sometimes, so it cracked me up seeing him scared of her new guy. That scream when he thought Lynn's boyfriend was going to hit him was fantastic. All around great episode I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

Love this episode! Btw, Wayne sleep is a semi-famous gay ballet dancer in the UK. Alan's random references are hilarious!

The foot piercing is still my favourite episode of this series. 🙂

Fantastic. Here’s a 3 minute clip where someone dubbed Alan’s description over the intro of the Spy Who Loved Me - could be one to react to on YouTube but if not worth a watch anyway https://youtu.be/EVasnOcPm9c

Great reaction man definitely the best episode. So many amazing quotes - “what like Dr Pepper? Tastes like fizzy benylin” “there’s a grave of a man who died in 1872, and he was only 3” “Michael, your hanging out with a man who uses a collective term for a single vehicle” 😂😂😂

I had never noticed before that this episode features possibly the first appearance from Sonja's Bono scrapbook. This will become funnier in E5. There's a little element of sadness in this episode, with Alan being so petty as to break off his friendship with Michael over him having another friend and liking American things, and responding to Tex's efforts at friendly conversation with unashamed rudeness. I think I commented on this before but there's a few people who are prepared to give Alan a chance in the series despite his weirdness and he's awful to absolutely all of them. And you're right, he never switches off, you've reminded me that one of my friends upon being introduced to Alan Partridge described him as a "high energy asshole". I don't think she liked it very much, she found Alan's behaviour nerve-racking and stress-inducing.

Your reactions always improve my mood. Thank you.

Did you recognise the actor playing Tex, Josh? None other than the great Peter Serafinowitz, who was the flatmate in Shawn of the Dead, the new 'Tick', the voice of Darth Maul, and several "voices" in the IT Crowd. I also found out today that he's done voice work for South Park, American Dad and Archer. The guy's resume is amazing. I really recommend you check out his 'That Peter Serafinowitz Show' at some point. Great reaction as always.

I have a feeling this will be one of the series you'll watch again at your leisure. Especially as it's only 2 seasons.

I forgot how funny this episode was. Alan reminded me of Richie from bottom when he was making everyone sit down and listen to him.

I actually own the greeny-brown sleeveless jacket that Bond wears for the finale of Goldeneye. A friend of my dad worked at Pinewood Studios on the film and he gave it to me when I was a kid. Pierce Brosnan wears it for the bit where he's in the jungle and then comes across the giant satellite dish(I haven't watched it in a while, it might be in even more of the film). It's also in the game for the(I believe) final two levels, and the model of Bond kissing whatsername as the game credits roll is wearing it while the camera slowly spins around. What makes this claim to fame slightly crap is that my dad kept it at his place throughout my childhood, so I only saw it on holidays, and what's more he almost certainly chucked it out decades ago, so I never technically had it in my possession at any point. But I KNEW IN MY HEART IT WAS MINE and that was enough. Thanks to the game that jacket has become sort-of iconic in the subsequent decades. At the time I didn't really think about how cool it was.

Michael

i just saw this episode and i had the same thought lol

OH WHATS THAT-- TOO LATE

The 'Welsh Bond' they were talking about, Timothy Dalton, is the guy who played Skinner (the store owner) in Hot Fuzz.
