Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

Two great episodes back to back for season 2.Alan trying to fill dead air time with laughing cracked me up. I thought he was trying to kill time until the next guy came on. When he was talking to the construction crew and said "I have access to the kids but they don't want to see meeeee " That cracked me up. The best parts of this episode were Alan's conversation with the South African guy while trying to keep the table balanced and lit, him stepping on the spike then giving a presentation, and Micheals's crazy ass story lol.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

Had a really rubbish day and this so so cheered me up!! Thanks Josh!

Chris

Hopefully you're going to watch the Alan partridge film as well. Alpha Papa

Great reaction as always, was looking forward to this one. Living today’s t-shirt. You might find it amusing I made a t-shirt design inspired by this episode - his metaphorical train journey to London calling at shattered dreams parkway etc. https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/63698709

Great reaction man - glad your enjoying the series, ‘p..p..probably me next’

Once put together a replica of one of the Dante Fires fun packs for a birthday present for a mate (he’s a Partridge fan, might’ve found it a bit odd if he wasn’t...)

Charlie

Alan's conversation with Piet is probably the highlight of S2. Steve Brody is one of the few actors I've seen who played a South African character without falling into the trap of affecting a ludicrous, comedic Afrikaans accent. Alan's hatred of London isn't actually too far away from how some parochial British people feel about it...

Kieran B

He’s great, shame we don’t see him in more stuff. Got me thinking of the Armando Iannucci Shows where he plays the barber, could be good for Josh to react to, but think the Hello Hugh sketches are probably the best standalone ones

Love that you get the humor in this so well. Sad that they only made so few seasons of this and others like FTs ... yet they made a millions eps of shows like Big Bang theory and 2 and half men , shows like that. No having a go if that’s your cup of tea just sad there isn’t more seasons of these classic shows. But I guess it’s quality over quantity!

hey josh, i can watch on another of the links but just to let you know it tells me that '90' is not the correct password

it went over my head for years when the south african guy shouts, "Alan, YOU CAN'T!" and he responds "Well there's no need for that!" - that in his south african accent Alan thought he was being called a c***

Funniest episode of the show for me. The whole meeting with the South African guy, the cant/c*nt misunderstanding cracks me up everytime, Alan seems so upset. Then the piercing his foot on a spike and the car crash presentation is just absolute gold 😂

Saul

This is the best episode of them all IMO. And I think the scene with the spike and the retching at the presentation stand is up there as the hardest I've ever laughed at anything, ever. I was replicating Alan's position by the end of it, doubled over, gasping for breath

Saul

I have a special fondness for the way Coogan delivers the line "I've got access to the kids but they don't wanna seee meee". That line had a long half-life when I first saw the episode; I laughed about it for about a week afterwards. It's just so weird. There are so many things going on in Alan when he says that.

Gary Tamblyn

This episode is brilliant and probably the best of S2, but it may set the expectation bar a bit high. I think the next episode is good, but I feel things taper off with the final 3 episodes, mostly because the extra regulars in S2 (except for Sonja) weren’t as good as the hotel staff in S1. If you’re not familiar with early James Bond films, a lot of e4 will go over your head. There’s a few funny moments in e5 and e6, but I’ve alway felt they were a bit rushed and that they were running out of ideas. Worth watching, but I think they are the weakest of the whole 12.

This was a hilarious episode man I was cracking up. The can't thing was so goofy, and Alan being upset about it made it even more funny.

AfterWorkReactions

This was a great one man, thats a bit of a bummer but so far this whole show has been funny to me so I am sure I will still enjoy them. I am familiar a bit with James Bond but haven't seen a bunch of the movies but I know the basics.

This and Brave Alan are probably my two favourite episodes of S2. Password is 1 not 90 btw.
