This was a great episode , when Bent threw his hat at Dawn and the cleaning lady walk through the door when he was trying to make a point I knew the cringe would only get worse and it did lmao. I really like the conversation between the IT guy and Gareth, they are both so ridiculous. Gareth's out of control lol, when he approaches Jim and starts talking crap about his hair, clothes, and weird personality, dude come on reflect on yourself lol. I like that Rachel agreed about him looking like a Fisher-price character and laughed lol.

Most of us in the UK are in full on lock down now. We are either in T 4 or t 3 So that means pretty much no socialising in doors at all.

Happy new year Josh and Tay - glad you’re really into this, and picking up all the little things like Tim reacting to the IT guy. The IT guy saying “oh gone off Dawn have you” is so brilliantly ruthless and Gareth’s insults to Brent like “Swindon lot don’t seem to respect you” just great. You’ll love the upcoming two episodes :)

One thing it might be worth reacting to on YouTube is ‘Ivan Brackenbury’, he does a short stand up set as the character of a hospital radio DJ. He did an appearance on Cats does Countdown too. There were a couple of bits in this that reminded me of him

The Christmas special is actually split into 2 parts. They are longer to, together they are like a movie. Part 1 is about 45 minutes and part 2 is about 50 minutes. So up to you whether you want to do them back to back or not. When they first aired they had part 1 on then part 2 was the next day

I like the little things that get added. Like Tim reacting in the background over hearing the IT guys conversation. Or the one guy in the crowd giving the side eyes to the camera as Brent is playing the music. Or Brent spraying the deodorant but spraying it at Dawn instead. As Ben Stiller says in Extras, you can watch it multiple times and see things you didn't the first time. It's layered, it was made that way.

The IT guy is none other than Mr. Garth Marenghi himself (Mathew Holness), and his lines in this episode remind me of the type of self-aggrandising Garth continuously uses in Darkplace. I so hope Darkplace makes it through the next poll. Happy New Year to everybody. I Hope 2021 is happy, peaceful and fruitful for each of you.
