Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

This was a very funny episode with a great story . Dels face when he realized Debbie could be his daughter was priceless .I thought it was hilarious when Trigg and Rodney both made the joke about Debbie being a pretty girl lol. I don't have a ton to say about this episode there were a lot of individual funny moment wrap into a hilarious story . Its always wild to me how pissed cheaters get when they fined out their partner was up to the same thing the whole time. I loved the ending of the episode when Rodney's best mate walked in with Debbie . Repeating the cycle of infidelity and betrayal lol.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

Wow opened the app to check and you uploaded 9 seconds ago, talk about a sixth sense lol! really look forward to your future reactions as for me the show goes from strength to strength after Uncle Albert is introduced. Can’t wait to check this out :)

god bless i thought this show was over

For me, Grandad's a better character than Uncle Albert but the show's still great at this stage. Looking forward to the upcoming series - I haven't watched it myself for a while.

One thing I love about John Sullivans writing style was him tackling serious topics but having a comedy sting in the tail plenty more of that to come in Only Fools.

can't wait for episode 5 my favourite of the season. I just looked at it and the TV audience was 18.7mil for that episode. Given the UK population in 1985 that's massive

Next week is an emotional episode! RIP Grandad, Lennard Pearce

Andrew

That was a really cool opening monologue you did on Grandad Josh, glad you enjoyed the character and that he left his mark on you and the show Respect dude

James Aston

So this is the last episode with Grandad. I was super confused by your intro! Last one with the old boy here.

It was a very sad day when Lennard Pearce passed away but Albert is a great replacement. Personally I love both characters.

Ash Jeffries

Great reaction Josh and this is a very funny episode, agreed. A really strong start to series 4 and I think John Sullivan (who wrote every episode single-handed and sings the theme tune), ensured it was as funny as it could be in light of the next episode where we do (as you rightly guessed) say goodbye to Granddad. It's an emotional one, beautifully written, still has its funny moments, but it's an absolutely necessary entry into the ongoing Trotter story. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. :-)

Gary Tamblyn

Lennard Pearce ‘Grandad’ sadly passed away a year after Series 3 finished, so John Sullivan had to re-write Series 4. So the final episode of Series 3 was his last appearance. This episode he’s only really there by name.

I absolutely loved grandad a sad loss for the show no doubt but uncle Albert slotted in so well. Next episode will hit you hard I think. Keep up the good work!!

I grew up late 80s, early 90s watching OFAH. I rarely watched S1 to S3 as I found them older and boring for some reason. I don't even know why. Have seen all episodes from after that several times. But these reactions to S1 to S3 have been good. The episodes were better than I thought. And it has been enjoyable watching them them for the first time along with you.

I love the way you absorb yourself into the characters of these shows, and really think of the back stories and their character traits, in much the same way as the writers (or writer in this case) probably did. Your accompaniment adds a lot to watching a series as sometimes it’s easy to miss things watching on your own. Your intro to this one was really well done. You should get a career in TV, or reviewing films, because you’re really good at it.

Sadly Lennard Pearce had indeed already passed away by this point in filming however the reason that Grandads absence in this episode was explained as him being in the hospital is because writer John Sullivan did not want to open the new series with something as sombre as a funeral. I should imagine the scenes where Del & Rodney spoke about Grandad still being in the hospital must have been very painful for David & Nicholas to perform- they all were fantastic together RIP Lennard Pearce. Cant wait for you to be introduced to Uncle Albert however- rest assured he is another beautifully well written character in his own right!

Amazing reaction as usual man keep up the good work your killing it as always. I love del boy but also I love rodneys sarcastic replies his does to dell always short witted and funny

AfterWorkReactions

I agree the writing in this show is fantastic. They do a great job of making you laugh and make you feel those serious moments. Great episode.

You should react to some of Tim Vine videos for YouTube. He’s a comedian

Can’t wait for you to meet Albert! :)

Thank you that means alot! I really have been enjoying this show, the relationships on OFAH seem very real.

It's a shame you already knew about Grandads actor dying. I personally didn't like him that much in the series and although there was funny episodes I really felt the series found itself once Albert entered and the funniest episodes for me growing up where these episodes, some others think the opposite though. I'm not sure what service your watching them on but really hope the episodes are not to cut up and edited due to Political correction or music rights like they are on most streaming services now in the UK , especially the specials in particular. Honestly can't state how much better the series gets once Albert enters and you can see in the last few episodes the cast getting bigger outside of the immediate main actors so more characters to know and stories. Just a heads up there is never ever any end of titles scenes on this programme.

Hey, Josh, I’ve translated he opening theme tune into American… Put $25 in my pocket I’ll fetch the luggage from the MPV Because if you want superior items And you won’t report me to the police Then friend, I’m the person to do business with Because where the goods come from is unknown to me It’s like the change from Summer to Fall And how the tide comes in at the beach But here is the question that is making me mad Why do only retards and trained animals seek gainful employment

Andrew Sanderson

such a small part of the episode, but I love when trigger bangs on the toilet door! so funny!

Can't believe we're on series 4 already. I enjoyed hearing your comments about Grandad at the start. Great reaction as usual Josh, hope you're having a good day man.

Teddy Alison

Love it when the little boy says “I let down the tyres on that motor” 😂 Dels reaction is priceless

Delboy to the little kid when giving him money - "Go and get an Ice cream from the Paki's on the corner". Amazing how racism like that wasn't wasn't even noticed back in the 80's. Somebody right now could snippet that, post it on twitter and create a massive shit storm. Some context for Josh - 'Paki' is short for a Pakinstani person, and 'corner' refers to a 'corner shop' which is a building on the corner, where two roads meet or cross and the perfect place for a little convenient store.

Thanks man I am looking forward to it. I heard about Grandad from multiple people lol but it's all good. Thanks for the heads up bud!

I know it feels like I just started this show! Thank you, I really enjoyed Grandad he is a great character. Have a great day =]

Hardly racism, outdated terminology from a different era I would say, you wouldn’t get too far being a racist somewhere as racially diverse as Peckham

love this episode, when del appears in the mirror and calls Rodney a little plonker 😂

The kid actor who played the boy in this episode also played Heather's son in a previous episode.

Caroline Penn

I really loved what you said about Grandad at the start. He was my favourite character and its nice to hear you appreciated him for the same reasons I did. Thanks!
