Spoiler Free:  This was a decent episode

Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

I really enjoyed the previous episode more. I did like two of the cat jokes. The one when he said I think I have to go do something secret and when he kept checking and grooming himself lol. Man Lister has a lonely life dude, at least the skutters hang out with each other and watch movies. His only companionship is a humanoid cat obsessed with his self-image, the ship's computer whose kind of a dick, and an annoying hologram of a person that he already dislikes. I would be going crazy, but it would be hard to enjoy yourself with a hologram girl who knows she's actually dead and will never see her loved ones again. Hey, baby what's up millions of years have passed, everyone you know and love is dead including you. But hey look on the bright side you get 4 hours of existence with me lets party. That would have been a terrible 4 hours lol.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

Hey Josh, the Google drive link is the same as the mediafire link, where you have to download it.

Don't worry, season 1 is pretty iffy. Season 2 becomes exponentially better.

For me it gets a lot better when Crichton becomes a permanent fixture.

They show you the ship right at the start it pans out and you can see a man painting it and see how massive it is.

When they bring the robot Crichton in for me he is the best character love him.

Yh thats it lol

You're description of Kat at the end is spot on, he's not the most multidimensional character ever, but he really doesn't need to be. Just recently I got the actor who plays the Kat (Danny John Jules) to make a video message for my Dad for Xmas - the man does not age.

It get's a lot better and funnier. The classic stuff is when Kryten is a part of the crew.

As others have said, the first season isn't very strong but it really finds it footing and will become ultra comfy level show to watch

I must admit, I only remember a couple of really funny stand out moments from this show, one was the ‘change to red alert’ moment that Josh watched before. But, I admit, I was only ever a casual watcher so probably missed a lot of good stuff over the years. However, I think if THIS episode was the pilot, they wouldn’t have commissioned it. It was pretty weak IMHO. But a lot of comedies stink in the first series. I get the sense it gets a lot better from clips I’ve seen, and the huge following it had / has. 😃

It's all good man, it usually takes a while for a show to get really good and gets you to enjoy the characters

Just so you know, there are more episodes then what are on Netflix. There are two one off episodes (Season 9 and Season 13) and Seasons 10, 11 and 12.

bit slow still enjoyed multiple jokes and i expect it to get a lot better from what people say thanks for the good stuff man

The first series leans heavily on the 'odd-couple-in-space' setup but beyond that it quickly finds more interesting ways for the cast to interact. It's not for everyone but I do love the first two series, and series two has a couple of my personal favourite episodes in it, but I've been watching it since I was a kid so I'm biased!

While not hilarious I really enjoy this episode for its dramatic moments. It really makes you feel for Lister, sitting in the room where he remembers fun times with his friends, only to cut back to him alone and them all dead. Poor guy.

OF COURSE YOU'RE TENSE YOU RECTUM-FACED PYGME!

"A woman's period" really made me laugh

Great reaction as ever Josh. :-) This is archetypal early Dwarf in that it's very character-driven and the plot is somewhat tenuous and secondary. I like this aspect and it made sense in the first series but you will notice story taking precedence even towards the end of season 2, and certainly by season 3. It's very well written though and I do find this episode in particular is full of pathos as well as comedy. It is quite a sad notion and you really feel Lister's loneliness and pining, for Kochanski as well as his former crew-friends. The bit where it cuts back from the dance song to Lister sitting on his own and he just echoes the lyric "....alone...". It was a fleeting moment where they dispatch with comic dialogue, but effective I think.

Thank you! I did find the scene where Lister was lonely in his room thinking about his friends to be very sad. I enjoyed this episode a whole lot.

It's worth watching the dvd extras (for yourself) which are on YouTube when you've done each season as the cast and crew explain a lot about why the sets were like they were and how stuff developed. I'm sure the channel is called Ace Rimmer, I'll try to get a link so you can bookmark it for the future! EDIT: Here's the playlist, it's great viewing https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ52zBF88DHyRFt5tIfOKFMvSbDKYItrf
