Dougal describing the beast cracked me up so much the description was so ridiculous. I know I say this often but I would love to see the beast on a shirt. Only Father Ted Fans would know what it was. I am surprised no mentioned this episode to me before I thought it was really good. When Father Ted made a joke about sheep tea and Miss Doyle goes yes I have sheep tea I died lmao . This lady and her tea obsession is so great.

S3 is the best. But for some reason this is one of the worst episodes for me. Not in my top 10. Edit - The scene, however, with Dougall suddenly in the bed with Ted made me laugh as much as the Chinese people at the window. So unexpected.

The guy who said fuck off in the tent is one of the writers of the show in the airplane episode the priest who s friend confessed his love too is one of the writers/producer

This was always one of my least favourite episodes and I haven't watched it for years. But I must say, this is the most I've ever enjoyed it so thanks Josh. Haha Dougal's description of the beast was always my fave part as well, so funny. It only has eyebrows on Saturdays 😃 The couple are John and Mary btw.

It's Graham Linehan's voice: co-writer of this and writer/creator of Black Books and IT Crowd. He's also co-written a few other things that I haven't watched and therefore have no opinion on: Motherland and The Arthur Strong sitcom(actually I watched a few episodes of it because I liked the radio show; it was okay.). Guy's a bona fide comedy genius IMHO.

Series 3 is by far the best one, they get to do a lot more outside of the Parochial House . Would hype the next episode but wouldn't want to milk it.
