Spoiler Free: This was a good start to a new season .

Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!

Del and Grand dad had me fooled lol. I was thinking this was the episode they replaced grand dad with the other guy people have mentioned. I thought this was going to be the episode they wrote him off . Then I remembered someone in the comments said he was written off because he actually passed away . As soon as they revealed this whole thing was a scan I knew it wasn't going to work out . I started getting nervous like I did in the gambling episode like dude they are going to lose everything . Some of these shows have me on the edge man lol. This was good start to a new season .

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

Hi Josh - I joined Patreon a couple of days ago having enjoyed your videos on YouTube for over a month. You're so much further ahead here and I've binge-watched so much content already! Amazing that you're on the Only Fools and Horses journey - it's must-see TV! The series is excellent from beginning to end but it really does grow and develop over the years from well-written sitcom to national institution. The 1996 Christmas trilogy was viewed by 26 million in the UK alone... (the original finale), at the time almost half the UK population! I am very fond of series 1 and 2 but series 3 onwards is where it flourishes... the 50 minute episodes start with series 6 and that is my all-time favourite series (the Christmas Special that year "The Jolly Boys' Outing" my favourite of the Christmas specials. It's as good as OFAH gets.) You have so much joy coming your way with Fools and Horses and I look forward to watching along! I'm also really enjoying rewatching Bottom, The Inbetweeners, The IT Crowd, Extras, Peep Show and Father Ted! :-D

Daniel Davies

I think this is the episode where they really nailed Trigger’s character and what he was going to be for the rest of the run; the slow monotonous idiot.

Daryl

No issues. Some really good episodes this series. I've caught up with TITC now and working my way through TI. Such a great schedule it's easily the best of my subscriptions. Most of mine are for Doctor Who. That's a show you could consider for the future if there's any interest from the others.

Hey folks, Josh will no doubt have a new poll up soon for more shows, so I wanted to make another campaign ad for One Foot in the Grave. What's brilliant about the list of shows Josh watches is that they're the full spectrum of British comedy - from the surreal slapstick of Bottom, to the cringe and crudeness of Inbetweeners, and the more traditionally witty (but still sarcastic) Only Fools. One Foot in the Grave is a brilliant mix of the surreal, the cringeworthy, the crude and the witty... think of all the classic moments it has (just like OFAH) and how the phrase "being a Victor Meldrew" has entered British culture and language. He's like the first meme. If Josh puts it in his poll, please consider voting for it!

Thanks so much for joining bud I really appreciate it and I look forward to continuing my Only Fools journey . I am happy to read you are enjoying the content. I wish the other shows I have come to love were just as long as Only Fools and Peeps show. Im going to miss IT Crowd , Extras , Father Ted and Bottom there only a few weeks left of each . Thanks again .

I couldn't agree more about One Foot in the Grave. It's a truly sublime sitcom and I'd love to see Josh react to each and every episode. It's one of the most cleverly-plotted sitcoms of all time but it's also exquisitely sharp in terms of characterisation. My favourite UK sitcom probably.

I find some of these earlier episodes a choir. And anything that involves a lot of location recording just isn't as good. Del Boy is much better when he's working the studio audience.

Ross Stewart

Have to say I wholeheartedly disagree, whilst the show does certainly get better over time the earlier episodes are still great. The dialogue between Rodney and Del is incredible. I know that the show wasn't really that big until season 3 came out though, that's when it got into its stride where most of Britain would time in and watch it.
