Spoiler Free:  I enjoyed this episode, lol don't know what else to say that won't spoil it.

Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!! Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!    Spoiler Alert !!!!   Spoiler Alert !!!!

This episode was really funny. The Lovely Girls competition was fantastic. A scoring system based on sandwich making, nice bottoms, and fake laughs lmao. Bunch of drunk dudes hovering being perverts lol fantastic. I assume the Female artist was a generalized representation of celebrities who are a part of the third wave feminist movement or one person in particular. Either way, it was really funny and well done.

Mrs. Doyle trying to eat at the end while being told we can do whatever we want there aren't any men around and getting yelled at for eating meat.

The entire scene with Dougal talking to the singer about her bra was hilarious and so much more I could go on and on lol.

Thanks for watching folks !!! Hopefully, you all are happy, safe, and healthy !!

As always I would love to read your comments below

I think I've seen this episode a dozen times and this is the first time I realized the singer is a spoof on Sinead O'Connor. I really like the episodes featuring women, Dougal just can't cope.

Rewatching some of your old Cats Does Countdown reactions on YouTube, you should watch 'Sean Lock derails show and career with Nazi Island'.

Great job as always mate - catchy theme tune right? ;)

Tony Smyth

Sean Lock is an outstanding stand-up "comedian" too. He doesn't just do panel shows. You're thinking of Jimmy Carr. Sean Lock even writes some of his own jokes, sometimes...

Oh yeah I forgot Clare Grogan was in this episode! When you get round to Red Dwarf, she plays Lister's love interest Kochanski, and she was the lead singer of the 80's band Altered Images. Don't think they really had an impact in the states though. In fact I think they've fallen into the cracks of history even in Britain.

IS THAT MEAT?

That is awesome thanks for the info. I haven't heard of that band before but I will have to give them a listen. Thanks bud =]

Its never stated in the show, but in a Father Ted Anniversary documentary made a few years ago, the writers suggested that Mrs Doyle was a previous winner of the Lovely Girls Competition and perhaps lead to her working for the Parochial House.

The Lovely Girls competititon is based on the real Rose of Tralee

Ian Webster

Oh by the way, Claire Grogan who plays (and this is how it's spelled, don't blame me) Niamh Connolly was a pop start in the UK not too long before this episode. She was also Kochanski on Red Dwarf - might be one for the future.

This was a great episode. Mrs Doyle is really under appreciated and kind of does everything in the background. She does get a bigger part in some episodes. The football (soccer) fan episode is brilliant.

The sign language woman didn't get angry. The singer mentioned the land of Tir Na Nog, which I'm guessing there is no sign language for :D
