Spoiler Free:  I really enjoyed this episode for sure. This show is moving up the list for cringe lol. Peep show is at the top of that list and The Inbetweeners comes in second. This show may well take the second-place spot. We will see  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's hard to say because The Inbetweeners has so many great cringe moments. But this shows cringe moments seem to last longer. I could be wrong I haven't done any side by side or anything lol.

My favorite scene is Ricky lying to the priest about being catholic that whole scene was fantastic. Kate Winslet's talking dirty tips, and Oscar tips were great as well.

Andy and Maggie are working on the set of a World War 2 holocaust movie starring Kate Winslet, but are overly distracted by romantic opportunities. Keen to impress, Andy lies about being a Catholic in order to get closer to a fellow extra, while Maggie gets some explicit lessons from Winslet on talking dirty.

The prayer meeting scene could have been even more excruciating, theres a deleted scene where Andy tries singing to get them back onside 😂 you'll need to find it its hilarious and never should have been cut!

It’s been a while since I’ve watched Extras. In my opinion a good show, but not fantastic. Having said that, this is one of my favourite episodes! Kate Winslet is great in this and that scene with the church group is hilarious!

The irony is that Winslet went on to win her Oscar for The Reader...a holocaust film 😂 Think Ricky even mentioned it when he hosted one of the golden globes and takes the credit for her success 'I told you to do a holocaust movie and the awards come, didn't I?!' 🤣

I think Barry from Eastenders, Keith Chegwin and Les Dennis will be the hardest to understand from your perspective. In Britain they're like has beens, had their five mines of fame, unfairly disgraced... the butt of the joke these days. Though the Life's too short special they were in was amazing!

the Priest in this played the Bishop in Father Ted that Dougal convinced to give up on his faith and join the hippies in the end.

The next episode is Les Dennis, who is a big name in the UK. He is mostly known for being the host of Family Fortunes for 15 years or so, which is the UK version of Family Feuds. He later went onto appearing on Celebrity Big Brother , about a year before Extras, and it was incredibly awkward as his marriage was on the rocks at the time and he came across as a manic depressant discussing it. As a nicer bit of trivia he later went to play King Arthur alongside Warwick Davis in a version of the play Spamalot, which is a musical play based on the silly Camelot part in Monty Python's Holy Grail
