I thought this was very heartfelt and moving. The whole show was beautiful filmed. That final scene was, as you say, a reflection on passing of time. First Lisa dies, then the dog, and eventually he will go. The added touch of the trees turning autumnal was lovely. My only criticism of this episode was that not enough focus was given to the nurse (forgot her name). It felt like a footnote. Sure, it’s alluded to that she may get close to her old friend. But I felt she should have featured at the fair.
