The playwriting task was an instant classic, not least because John's ability to infuriate Dara even when they're not in a team together is phenomenal! And despite that, Dara (and the production team) did him a *colossal* favour in turning his - let's be honest - highly dubious eight-word script into a gripping Ingmar Bergman style piece where the troubled protagonist is being called on (in all likelihood) by Death. Jammiest five points of the series, but you've got to love the guy. And while a lot of past cast members (James Acaster, Romesh Ranganathan, even Rhod Gilbert) were masters of the faux-angry outburst during studio banter, it's magnificent to watch the contrast of Sarah keeping her mask of niceness-with-occasional-barbed-quips impeccably intact as she seethes over the absolute hospital pass she got from Munya on that task. "I hope you're pleased with what happened. Are you happy with how it went? Good." Brutal.
