The Q thing was absolutely cultish. It's not all dumb people. At least the ones that dropped out of the obsession already. Not so much for those holding on tight to any false hope. They are just... it's sad.

that reminds of excorists…the part where they tried to force a woman to go back to her cult and her husband sounds like they just worked for whoever gave them money at some point. playing for the wrong team. i hope the new system is better with evaluating the situation before the cult / family first, so the person isn’t forced to go back to an abusive situation. and they probably need help and therapy after leaving the cult to get back on their feet. otherwise they will probably go back.
