Hi, friends. Don’t worry - this week’s Wild Light Decade post will be following a little later today, but first some news...

Back when we were ready to make Wild Light, we decided that we were willing to put ourselves at the mercy of one of those ugly, old-fashioned record deals, because we needed to find somebody willing to spend the money on letting us go to a studio for long enough to make a record that sounded better than all our previous ones.

We knew what we were getting into. And it was worth it because Wild Light now exists. But the upshot of it is that we will never own the rights to this record we're so incredibly proud of. It’ll be owned forever by Superball Records, who in turn, these days, are apparently owned by Sony. So we don't really have much control over what happens with it.

Anyway. We spoke to Superball the other month and told them about the Wild Light Anniversary shows. We suggested that if there was ever a time for them to consider repressing the vinyl, then now would be it. And, happily, they agreed.

So, for all those many people who asked us over the years: HERE IT IS! Have at it. The label wanted to do the run as a full colour variant to mark it out as the ten year anniversary repress, so it has been pressed onto a delicious, heavyweight, transparent magenta. The colour of noisy dreams.

We have bought some copies (yes, we too buy them from Superball) for our Bandcamp store that are available to pre-order now. (As valued patrons of 65LABS, your secret 'merchbot3000' promo code to get 20% off anything still works...)

We also plan to hold back some of our copies to make sure we have some to sell at the shows.

As you all know, all infrastructure in the UK is utterly fucked these days. One of the many knock-on effects of this is that shipping costs to places outside the UK can be pretty tough. So if the prices on our Bandcamp are a little steep even after the discount, some other links to places selling it can be found HERE. Or perhaps check with your local record store. One way or another, you should in theory be able to find this record for sale in mainland Europe and the United States.

That's all. See you later for this week's Wild Light Decade drop... 65.x

Record pre-ordered ✅ Now I won't need to worry about damaging it at the show, and there will be more space for merch :)

Aaand it's sold out on the bandcamp store :D Still available elsewhere though, so that's fine.
