Yes, it didn’t go as it did in your excellent piece. My mom very pointedly let me know that if it was anything other than a passing curiosity then I was sick and needed help. Not everything about the 60s was fabulous.

This is the most wholesome fucking thing! I was having a bit of a rough day, but then I read this and have been ecstatically squealing and clapping about it for 10 solid minutes. I didn't vote for this because I thought the idea was coercive and degrading and you turned it into the most wholesome fucking thing! You are the absolute sweetest! I never wore my mom's clothes, but I do occasionally crossdress and mom's main reaction was support mixed with some playful jealousy at the fact I picked up walking in heels so much quicker and more smoothly than she did XD
